Storms and rain bring me down
Until I can’t hear a sound
Fear creeps up ‘till it surrounds me
When friends leave cause they eventually do
And I just stop to think Lord where are you?
Kept on praying and praying
But heard no response ‘till I realized
He’s been there for me through it all
He’s walked me through the dark
He knows what I’ve gone through
And what I’ll face
I know my God is with me and it’ll be okay
When life gets me at its best
And it’s getting hard to see beyond my debt
Got some holding back regrets
When people leave me and I feel alone
And I just stop to think, where are You Lord?
Kept on praying and praying
But heard no response
Then I read the words Jesus Christ died on the cross
I know my God is able
I know my God is just
I know my God is worthy
So I’ll praise him for eternity
I know my God is with me
And I’m gonna be okay
