    Oh no, poor spork. It’s amazing how something so small can ground you. With every thing else evolving, that was the one thing that brought familiarity to your adventures. You have to frame it now, and post it up above the captain’s chair. You did a great job polishing her up too. It looks so beautiful that I wouldn’t mind investing in one, one of these days.

    You cant beat a Yamha outboard.
    Had the same outboard on my 20 foot Key West and it ran like a champ!

    And it sips gas!!!

    With sardines, one of the best things is mandioc flour. You put in a small pan 4 spons of this, and in with a weak fire, keep moving the flour with a wood spoon until it begans to turn lightly brown. Turn off the fire and put half spoon of butter and keep moving until the flour absorb all the butter, put some salt and voi lá, its ready. This is called farofa, in Brazil. And it is good with fishes, chicken, barbecue.

    Everyone has a million plus one suggestions. I'm no different....
    Spot lock trolling motor on the front. Perfect for easing into shallow water, casting lures off the front for inshore fish, spot lock to drop anchor, perfect around the launch ramp until you are ready for that BAD ASS 115 and it will get you out of harms way..... IF you have engine (Well, I can't type it. Bad ju ju.)
    Keep enjoying regardless of which 1,000,001 ideas you use or don't.

    Put that solar ray panel on top. Have trickle charger. When boat not running. Batteries still charging

    Crack those eggs on a flat surface instead of the pan edges then you won’t be picking shells out anymore! That tip changed my life a while back.

    • @TripSmith
      @TripSmith  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Really? Ok, I'm going to be trying that. I mostly have problems with shells when I'm eating yard eggs....

    Excellent adventure Trip, love the channel. I can’t wait to get out their myself after this crummy weather leaves central Florida. On a side note.. I hope your anchor situation and depth finder issue get resolved so it’s smoother to use both, and thank you for giving the fuel information out, I think that is definitely important for people to know.

    Looks like the C-Dory has more interior space than a (average) Parker, but harder to get to the bow with less walk around shelf. I guess the hatch helps you get up front? I'm crazy about pilothouse boats, not many out there though.

    just watched the video. great video. I liked that water at panama city. Any idea why when you see drone videos of Cape San Blas and the beaches there the water is really murky and brown? not panama city, but the beaches around san blas.

    Think the mini yacht could handle a coast hugging trip across the gulf from port PC to South Padre Island? That's a trip that's on my bucket list.

      Not sure what Port PC is? But it will go anywhere within it's fuel range and with decent weather.

    Why the dual anchor? I do most of my boating on the west coast so I know it's different but I just throw the one and swing around it at night.
