I miss David Wirrapanda doing torpedoes from kick ins all the time. It’s almost like they’ll get docked a weeks pay so they don’t do them. Having said that if you stuff them up it can be pretty embarrassing

fucking up a torp is A) way easier to fuck up than a droppie and B) if you fuck it up its REALLY bad. But still, I love a good torp

@@ItzRendez barrels usually face more upwards while travelling in the air, where torpedoes would face more forward but the terminology doesn’t matter. you can call it whatever you want

That torpedo from Mitch Duncan against the Eagles was clearly touched by qtleast 2 West Coast Eagles players.. it's clearly shown on replay in more than one angle lol
obviously wasn't, i was at the game and they took ages to confirm it cause there was no evidence it was touched
On every angle you can see it was touched by Barrass. Fingers clearly bent. Geelong's primary school teacher was doing the score reviews at Geelong's primary school oval

why don't more players kick a torp? they're paid professionals, have shitloads of time to practice... btw, bradshaw 8:34 didn't mark that!
I think the reason not many kick tops nowadays is because they're less likely to be accurate despite the power, and drop punts tend to be pretty reliable still most of the time
