Thank you so much I've been procrastinating on writing a scholarship essay for this particular scholarship and these tips are super useful to help me just get started in general I have one scholarships in the past but for some reason this scholarship that I'm proceeding to apply to it's just very intimidating😂❤😅
If you tell yourself that you'll work on the essay for 5 minutes, it won't seem so daunting. You may work on it longer, but 5 minutes gets you to at least look at it and brainstorm ideas. Once you create your first rough draft, it will be a lot easier to work with.
My essay don't is don't copy and paste the essay and put in another essay Yes you can reuse essays for what people forget to do is tweak it and edit it so that the old essay fits to do as a prompt and word requirements
Hi, this video helped a lot and made me rethink on how to write my essay. I am writing an essay about, "How has catholicism impacted my life?" in 1000 words. Do I write it in MLA format? Am I also allowed to include type of like bible verses in my essay? Thank you very much.
When quotes are used it uses up many words of the essay. It's best to share and reflect your personal story rather than rely on quotes/versus. That will make for a much stronger and impactful essay.
Start by outlining your essay using the format and examples in the video. It's good to start with your goals and what you hope to achieve with this scholarship.

HI Jocelyn I hope you would be fine when you read my comment. Jocelyn I am from Pakistan. I am award winner progressive sales professional. I have a diverse experience of 8+ years in sales which i started right after my bachelors in business administration in 2016 and also joined MBA with the job and completed it in 2017. the medium of instructions and mode of communication has been English in my whole educational period. I am seeking scholarship abroad but everyone tells me that such study gap is not appreciated in scholarship application. so my first question is that is the study gap with job experience justified or not? secondly I serve Oxford University Press as Assistant Manager Sales in Pakistan. OUP is a department of Oxford University UK, would my job experience have any positive weightage in my scholarship application. I am identified as a biker boy, a debater an orator, a singer and also present in the annual conferences of my company. I have also supervised Sports events of my company as a team captain. my career progression also shows promotions and awards. Usually competent consultants arent available, one cannot assess if he/she is eligible for scholarship. I need your kind guidance and support. looking forward to hear from you soon
That would be the best practice, however, you may want to contact the scholarship organization for advice on how to cite resources as they may prefer a different format.
