You have to love these big cars and the Blues Bothers! ! bought a 79 Oldsmobile Delta 88, "Grandma version only 60k miles!" thing ran a bat out hell (5.7 liter engine, Rochester in four barrel tunable carb, I cut the exhaust off at the manifold i.e. including the catalytic converter..) Unfortunately My father re worked the the land where it was parked... And Buried it.....

@@markbehr88 She was a powder but faded to white, nice interior was still a cool light blue... Yeah my old man when he was alive (God I still miss of course) Started having tranny issues (leaks mainly, slip shifting) I loved that car... Never gotta chance to name her... My Father thought it was an eyesore in front on my parents and RIP. (He called it "your blues mobile" because he kew I was such fan of the movie. For the longest time I never forgave him for that but my pops did more than I could ever ask! We just just gotta enjoy these these these battleships of the highway! Thanks for the response!

One of our family cars was a beautiful dark blue base model '74 Monaco. Like the Blues Brothers' car, it had the "cop" options except for the engine; like yours, it had a 360. I got my driver license in that car. I got a lot, period, in that car. Thanks for the memory!
