"Never use the dagger on the table, it's a noob trap" My brother in ALMSIVI, you are a Dunmer, you should be using your +10 Short Blade bonus, not some clunky claymore like a dirty Nord. Short Blade is GOATed, attacks very fast and has very little weight. Plus the Ebony Shortsword is the SEXIEST weapon in the entire game and you can get a Saint's Black Sword within 10 minutes of leaving Seyda Neen.
I played this when I was like 13 when it released. I probably put 2k hours into it, on and off, over 3 years. Didnt find the dwemer cube until a few months before Oblivion came out...
You can make a ring of infinite stamina at any enchanter for like 150 gold.. Restore Fatigue is the cheapest spell in game because the devs didn't want people to be crippled because of not having stamina. half of the ingedients in game make restore stamina potions. The fighters guild GIVES OUT RESTORE STAMINA POTIONS FOR FREE. there is no reason to mod more restoration
If you realy want to and have the gold you can also make a permanent enchanted item regen fatigue 1-3 Points. You will never need potions or a restoration item ever again. If you want to get even more broken stack health regen as well and become immortal.
What enchant r u using? I find active stamina enchants arent sufficient at low value values and durations. I usually go for a reastore 50 for 6 secs costing around 10k gold and pop it when an encounter starts for a full bar until i can afford the constant 3 points later on.
Fun fact- any run that skips the Limeware platter is considered non-canon and invalid. As is any run that uses any mod. The intended gameplay experience is on the Xbox, with the Duke controller.
@@jubbalubby I think the fact that I had played the launch versions of Daggerfall and Redguard made it more palatable for me as a youngin. And I mean, you can still make an Athletics spell so powerful you bounce around the Balmora mages guild bottom level three times and clip out of the map, so the TRUE Morrowind experience is still in there.
Going with the official histories of ALMSIVI, eh? We all know Vivec murdered Nerevar at the urging of Almalexia. "Murder Most Foul" in The Sermons of Vivec
Bethesda's combat has really gone downhill since the removal of the hit chance mechanic. Leveling weapon skills is less meaningful, but more importantly, enemies have become damage sponges. Morrowind's mechanics provided a much better way to balance combat.
I think it would be better if instead of hit chance, it is based on animations and crit chance. For ecample at level 1 with a greatsword you can only swing it like a bat, being slow and not duing much damage, but at high levels it could do precise and fast swings that do more damage with the posibility of doing a crit.
Cool to see the younglings re visiting the classics. Have you gotten around to knights of the old republic my man? Or jedi Knight series for that matter.

My first Bethesda game was Daggerfall. It looks like action combat on the surface, but it is actually based on old school RPG dice rolls, so it is a traditional CRPG masquerading as an action game. Morrowind kept this system, but it changed with Oblivion. I prefer the old system. If you like Morrowind and want even more depth to RPG systems, you might like Daggerfall. If you want an idea for a video on this channel, a run through of Daggerfall's initial tutorial dungeon always makes for a good video. Watching modern gamers confront a proper old school dungeon is entertaining. You might have better success than usual with it since you are comfortable with Morrowind's combat system. Daggerfall isn't great for exploration since it is almost entirely procedurally generated, but there is a lot of fun to be had in figuring out how the game works and mastering it. If only Bethesda games now had even half the systemic depth of Daggerfall... Well, I can dream, can't I?
Somewhere down the line, I would love to tackle Daggerfall. Just like Morrowind, I've heard great things about it but rn I'm on Bethesda cool down. Playing their older games make me so depressed thinking about the current ones. But I share your dream, I hope one day Bethesda can actually tap into their true potential and deliver some genre defining works like they once did.
