Just got back to Nairobi from Diani. I can definitely confirm wholeheartedly that Galu Beach is by far the beest beach in Diani. Magical paradise in Africa. We stayed on on multiple places and Boxo and LaGalu was one of them.
I am in love with the wood and concrete aesthetic, I love Diani, never a let down. Dave, let's go 3 for 3. Last time it was we don't talk about Bruno stuck in my head, this week will be do you wanna build a snow man 😂😂😂.
The stunning views of the ocean and the natural surroundings make it a dream destination for nature lovers, I appreciate the effort put into making this video. It gives a great insight into what this wellness resort has to offer, thanks for sharing, new friend here
My second hometown. Over-dependence on ACs is a sign of bad design though. We’d like to see more tropical architecture that embraces local vernacular design languages especially when it comes to materials that help with energy performance.
I like the look of most of the places you stay but thought this one looks unappealing. The cabins seem crowded together and the whole site looks quite narrow.
Uhhhh trust me as an American who has spent time in Bali you don’t want Kenya to become that. Bali is overrun with pretentious Americans who think they have the answer to life and must preach their truth to everyone they encounter. Toxic. I now stick to places where there are few Americans. I must say Canadians are much nicer and I get along great with them. Sadly I can’t say the same for my own people.

Beautiful location , architecture is too cold and industrial and no design to it , needs lots of tropical plants to cover up the bland walls , Rooms concrete look not cosy at all looks like a warehouse dressed up 😢

What what! this hotel is charging 500 usd per room per night over Christmas and I can’t get a massive breakfast buffet all I get is Greek shakshuka kind of stuff Clearly am not the target market Keep it up guys we get to know what is what when it comes to holidays

No access to the beach unless you stay in beachfront hotel, most of which are very run down. Corruption in all government departments. I could go on.
