God I love this show! It’s my comfort food! It relaxes me and I love those jazz transitions…..and the small talk and talking over others is so refreshing…it’s how it is in real life….brilliant writing…..quick….no complex plot….excellent cameos….love it! Good lord Gary was on fire here! His zingers are phenomenal! He should of replaced Johnny Carson! We miss you Larry! I mean Gary! Same brilliant person!
God I loved Judy. I got to spend time with her and Emo when Greg Glienna was editing the original Meet the Parents at the comedy club where I worked. She was gorgeous, petite, ridiculously witty and wonderful. Just a helluva woman. I adored her.
I watch/ listen to this on autoplay every night to relax, I fall asleep to it, but then sometimes I will watch the whole episode and laugh out loud! It's dry, intelligent humor and hilarious! The concept of a half assed dysfunctional shrink, with a dysfunctional son with only comedians as clients- is PURE GENIUS! I love the bar scenes too, with Julie. I loved the 90's too, (takes me back) to the best decade of my life! This is timeless... wish we could go back to life, pre drump. when people weren't so stupid, insane, divided, angry...
Yeah, when races were actually living in relative harmony among each other, we were IN AMERICA! and that's all that mattered. Money was cheap, $20 could fill a diesel pickup truck, comedians didn't ever censor themselves, and we laughed, partied, even got a little debauched, and it was the last shuddering gasp of a post WW2 economic high. ...i was born in '86, and I wanna go back to '93 sometimes... But, we all carry it with us. Maybe Gen's X and Y (not Millennials, the older half that didn't Woke out) will act as the Echo Silent Generation that ignored BS and just friggin worked. Happy and sad... That's how I feel

i wish this show would consider revamping itself. i mean all three characters are still around plus there are TONS of new comedians who need therapy. imagine Chris Rock, Aziz Ansari, Aidy Bryant, Jimmy Fallon, Kirsten Wiig, Paul Rudd,... *SO FUCKING MANY* new faces that would be amazing!!!
Ben's voice actor is one of my most favorite voice actors of all time. His work in Dr. Katz, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Metalocalypse, and my favorite one Home Movies. You can tell it was a funny Gen X-er wrote this.
