Reforger was an awesome surprise and I wanna start familiarizing myself with the modding tools available since working knowledge of this engine will be future-proof moving forward into Arma 4, looking forward to following along with your guide this weekend and I hope you continue documenting interesting or useful workflows in Enfusion engine

Great video! This will definitely help some people. The workbench is so convoluted lol. Something as simple as adding bandages to the armory crate takes WAY too many steps. I can't wait until some better and more detailed documentation comes out because it's gonna be loads of fun to mess about in with an idea of what to actually do lmao.
Its complicated but you need to think of this as a full game engine like unity or unreal engine. Its a lot to take in initially but in the end its going to give us a lot more control to make a larger variety of mods. Its just a bigger learning curve to get there! I'll do my best to help with that curve :)

Great video that helped me learn about the image bug. Now all i want to figure out is how to host this scenario on my dedicated server. As of now i only managed to host a default game mode
I am still in the process of setting up a personal server but once I get that setup I'll dive into hosting a reforger server and setting up our scenarios in it. Might be a couple of weeks just because of current projects so maybe you'll solve it by then :P
Hey there @14:37 you mention that the height of the point matters. I think this is a bug in triggers and their scaling. For box shape use the "min/max" attributes on the trigger instead with "1" scale. Sorry I cannot run through the whole video, if you mentioned this somewhere I'm fine with it :)
You're right! I just tested it out. I thought about experimenting and finding out why that happened but I didn't want to get too deep and make things confusing for someone brand new. This does give me an idea to make some videos breaking these entities/prefabs apart and diving into the next layer of 'OK what did we actually drag into our viewport'. Everything works but the testing without workshop, the directory and command for the Launch Options in Reforger through steam are correct, it pops up in my scenarios list with my .edds files as thumbnails, names correct, etc, but I go to hit the play button and the host icon and the play icon are red and unclickable. Message when I hover my mouse over play button says "missing dependencies." I dont know how that's possible when I used the dependency on my computer to create the mod. Bohemias cap and hold mod is active in my workshop. What am I doing wrong?

You get this figured out? It just comes down to looking through the way capture and hold score system is used and then rebuilding it to fit your needs for death match. I haven't looked at it for a little while so I cant give any specific suggestions in case its changed
Hi there! I've been considering a return to make content. One of the problems I quickly realized before was how the videos were quickly becoming dating as the game and workbench were being actively developed. If I do decide to make these again I need to invest some time into planning and mapping things out to handle those situations. There is a good chance I'll hop onto the workbench again and plan some tutorials out.
So I followed instructions to the "T" and deleted and did it again a couple times. I am getting an error where the mod is not downloading. When I go in the game it shows it as an update and then says the "There are differences in the required mod versions. Affected mods: 1: and then the name of my mission. Any advice? I even created the same folders as you did. Just can't figure it out.
It's tough to diagnose because they've changed various things about how the game works since I did this video. I would suggest going through the official text tutorial on the bohemia wiki and see if some of the steps may have been updated/differ since this videos release.

I would double check 19:04 to make sure you made the config file and then follow the next chapter 24:49 again. Remember when you save your project in the workbench you need to copy over that new version into your addons(wherever you made that folder) so the latest version is available for the game to pull. So in my case I made a brand new addons folder just to put my workbench projects into, then put the steam game launch parameters in to tell my game where to look.

@@fenightix4996 Just to touch on this for anyone reading this thread having a problem, make sure your 'Missions' folder is plural and not 'Mission'. To the game that folder name matters when it is 'searching' for your config file. Glad we could figure it out! :D

Hmm thats incredibly strange that it works fine in workbench. I would copy over the files again just to make sure you have the latest build and restart your reforger game. Double check that you don't accidentally have 2 spawn points. You could even delete the spawn points and place them in again just to be sure. Just make sure to copy over the files after you make any changes

The control gamemode doesnt show up as a dependency even after I've downloaded it.
