A fantastic walk Rachel. You and Steph certainly covered some miles this day, and two major climbs as well (Win Hill especially). Nice to clock up those churches. Well done both of you, you definitely earned your takeaway that night! Look forward to part two 😃👍
Hi Rachel and Steph, this looks a lovely Ramble to do and you had some lovely weather too, I'm looking forward to part 2, atb Cheers Glenn it's a 👍from me ❤️❤️❤️
You certainly had a beautiful day for it, Rachel. Those miles are hard enough without the sun the way it's been. I'm really enjoying it. Looking forward to part 2. Thanks for sharing.
Loved the stained glass windows in the old church and a very impressive area to hike. One thing that has always put me off going to those Peak District fells are the amount of people on the summit, totally ruin it for me, despite the impressive views. A good idea with the passport stamps and more impressive churches to visit and I am always a sucker for meadows filled with buttercups. Win Hill looked a pull, especially on a warm day and 16 plus miles was a superb effort! VERY cheeky end to the night but very well deserved! Cheers Alan
Looks like a fun pilgrimage. I like collecting stamps in those beautiful churches and I also have an upside down stamp credential booklet! 😁 A bit crowded on a holiday, I guess... All the best, Kaat
Well done! What a beautiful area to visit 👏👏👏IMO this is a really great and enjoyable, informative video. For a little while I have been thinking of doing a 'church viewing trip' but hadn't figured out where as it could be anywhere, lol. You have have sorted it for me, thank you 👍I can't walk the distances per day you did so I'll max out at about 8 miles circular per day and rely on the car village to village. Again, thanks very much.
I love Hope Valley. Done Mam Tor, Lose Hill, Win Hill, Kinder Scout, and Bamford Edge a number of times. The views are just stunning. Getting up and down Parkin Clough to the summit of Win Hill is definitely spicy! Well done! ☺️
Cracking hike Rachel wow this adventure had it all buns peaks views and curry (What’s not to like 🤠🙏🏼) Thanks for bringing us along 🙏🏼 Simon (I get stuck in the squeeze styles all the time big bag or not 😂)
Wow, this looks like a fantastic trail, ive never heard of this one. Love the stamping in the Church, what a great idea. Well navigated gate Steph! Cracking views on Back and Mam Tor, its as busy as I remember it! We are really fond of Castleton, a place with a lot going for it. Love this stamping and nice to see the Churches open. A great idea to see all these Churches of different denominations getting onboard. We are hoping to redo part of the Pilgrims Trail in Italy later this year so this is getting me really excited for that. I do love the signage in the Peak District, very classy. Looks like a tough final ascent in that heat! You are showcasing the beauty of the Peak District perfectly! 16 miles is more than we have done in one day this year, i wonder if we can still manage it? 🧐 hiking delirium, a nice stay at the website! A cracking day and night, roll on part two 👍
Hi 👋 If I did this trail again, I’d do it over three days and so at Hope on day one. Win Hill was a real killer. But we both really enjoyed the pilgrimage. The Hope Valley never disappoints 😀

The Peak District is one of my favourite national parks. I’ve never done a walk there that I haven’t enjoyed. Thanks for watching 😎
16 miles in a day, that is hard to do! Much enjoyed!
Yeah it was a tough one but somehow we made it to camp before dark and even had time to get a take away for dinner. Thanks 😄
Looks a warm one. Got to enjoy those conditions while they are here.
We were very fortunate with the weather. I’m glad it didn’t rain. It’s a fab trail and would highly recommend it 😎
