Congrats on your learners Grace! I passed my full license in NZ last year and the journey to get there wasn’t easy! My Dad taught me as well as two driving instructors, who got me over the initial fear and anxiety of driving. It is a lot different from a go-kart, you can’t crash this one and it’s a lot heavier with a lot more risk 😅 The best advice that I was given was to always check for traffic from my right first as that is where I am likely to get hit first 😊
Im just impressed at how fast you learnt, I’m only 13 but I’ve been watching you since I was around 9. It looks so hard to drive and I honestly have no idea how people like you learn so incredibly fast, also your dad is so patient, and really made sure you understood what everything was, he definitely cared about your driving more then a lot of parents would. It’s such a relief when u get your learner license with proof you can now drive, I got mine last year and I started driving in a parking lot and for me that was so scary now I’m driving on actual roads and to /from school. Crazy how fast you can progress! I can’t wait until I turn 18 next year so I can drive by myself places
Trust me, driving can be hard. My sisters 18 and she's still learning and I can drive a golf cart very well! Take it easy, and trust the process! You will do great! ❤

Honestly, I HIGHLY, recommend driving lessons. They are the most helpful thing and help you get over the anxiety of driving. I personally got hit by a bus while driving and have had horrid anxiety around driving since
Man, I'd never be able to wrap my head around that whole left-hand traffic thing. Ok, you grew up with it, Grace, so probably no big transition (if any) for you. But for someone like me, who only knows right-hand traffic and swears by it, well, put _me_ on an LHT road, and I'll have arsed something up within seconds. 😁😄
I promise driving will get easy. When I first started I was a nervous wreck! But I took driving lessons and that helped a lot with my driving skills and anxiety. Plus my instructors gave me very helpful tips. I'm not 100% sure if AUS driving regulations are similar to the US but I highly recommend driving lessons. Good luck and I promise driving will become easier 😊

I remember learning to drive-I’m on my green ps now- and it was so scary like it would be for everyone else. I learnt in a manual and I still drive manual now and I was so scared. You’ve got this, practice makes perfect. Good luck (from one Aussie to another) 🙂
@@iamawasiano.o8401 Right after you pass your learner driver test you get your red ps. I don’t know if it depends on states but in Tassie and NSW you are on your reds for a year. Then you get your green ps which you are on for two years. Then you go for your blacks which is your full license. Hope that helped🙂

What’s the difference between a green p and red p? I’ve got 2 years till I get my L plate in WA.
