I have Ocean Revives on an SPS tank and they are 16 years old still great.

i have ghl mitra 6200s that are like 10 years old, still growing SPS like a champ... I have ecotech xr30 pros G3 growing everything still. Do you get %5 difference? not worth the constant upgrade.

    shocking!
I wonder if there could be a shift in the spectrum...
But saying that I'm super happy to hear this as I have a used Gen 4 (somewhere), a Gen 5 I'm run on my QT tank and a Gen 6 - and the three I want to run with T5s and bars on my next build. This means the Radions should last and I am going to assume the same applies even to cheaper diodes (due to the Reefbrites). My guess is the issue is from overheating (and why I'd likely get Reefi's next time.
It seems a lot of reefers upgrading LEDS every 3-4 years and I think they should be good for 7-10. Be good to see longer warranties and also upgradable diodes like Illumagic do.

I have a friend with a beautiful tank and he runs gen3 xr30s. Will check my lights in a few years and will compare them to these par values. I don’t know about spectrum. I assume that it changes, but how much…I don’t know?!

I have 2x 4 year old Red Sea RS90 LEDs and they are about dead. I think they put out 50% of original par There is a noticeable difference to new/1yr old ones.

I never had Red Sea lights. Yeah, probably not all leds are made equal.

OMG, I don't need to upgrade every year like BRS tells you too?
