The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have visited St John’s Primary School in Port Glasgow where they took part in a session teaching children aged 5-13 about empathy.
Roots of Empathy is an early intervention programme run by Action for Children and uses a parent, baby and instructor to guide children to develop empathy.
The visit is part of a series of engagements that Prince William and Kate are undertaking in Scotland to coincide with Mental Health Awareness Week.

Ok, you can tell that HRH Prince William and Princess Catherine enjoy story time and things with their children. The Cambridges were all into the sing along with the children. I think it's wonderful. I can hear how delighted the children were to have them there. The children gave the Cambridges the most appreciative send off. This was absolutely amazing 👏. Well done Cambridges. Well done.

Confident? Im sure they are under normal circumstances, but the kid sitting next to Willam looks like he is completely troubled about these random adults who for some reason dont think its weird to just visit other people's children for no good reason at all.

I am American, but love The RF. The Queen actually has a very important role in the government. She represents The Sacred side of the government. It is balance. Here in American we have 3 equal Branches of government, which is balance also.
Love the way the HRH Prince William and his beautiful bride always get down on the level of the child with whom they are engaging. When sitting on the floor during the singing, it looks as if HRH was doing his best to become as small as possible. They are very sweet with children, and, handle themselves well with everyone. Very classy and kind.

It is so obvious William and Kate love children. Kate looks them straight in the eye and listens intently to whatever they say and so does William. Children are very perceptive and take to the royal couple.

@1:40 I caught a glimpse of Princess Diana in HRH Prince Williams mannerisms. I am over the moon excited that he has kept his mothers love for children and feels at ease when interacting with them. You can just see that he is really enjoying his time with them and it isn't just an act for the press. I loved his reaction to the little boy with a genuine laugh that you can feel.
