I love how Scratch’s attitude changes the longer the intro goes on. At the end, when he’s collecting the tacos, he’s happy but I wasn’t sure if that’s just the food talking XD but when he sang, “Well, that’s she.” he looked like he was fondly exasperated more than annoyed by that point with Molly. So maybe in the series he goes from being annoyed to fondly exasperated, finding the curse binding them not so bad? I mean, that could just be me reading too much into things, but maybe whatever big plot thing happens, Scratch admits he does care about Molly as she’s his best friend?
There’s this rlly cool interview/comic con thing where the creators go more in depth about what their friendship is gonna look like!! I recommend you look it up, it’s rlly sweet
It actually fits the show since with interviews, bts and other sources we know that there IS an overarching story but it's spread out throughout the episodes where scratch becomes friendlier to her and gets in trouble in the ghost world cause of it

Disney has really been knocking it out of the park with their animated shows in the past few years. Gravity Falls and The Owl House are two of my favorite shows ever, and this show looks right up my alley!

But I actually have high hopes for this character she seems, cute, charming, bright, and sweet from the looks of it. I'm excited! :D
This is one of the better themes for Disney. Very little exposition and and it’s very upbeat. Doesn’t rely too heavy on the vocals from the voice actors as other shows do, and that’s honestly what makes it better. I’d say top 5 theme where a title character sings.
i love that when molly snaps her fingers, the ghost is just immediately brought back to her. it's nice foreshadowing for something that's (probably) going to be prevalent in the show
I've said this on a different vid, but I still feel the same about this: while I do love story based cartoons like amphibia and TOH, itll be refreshing to see a show like this again, one that's more focused on humor and fun than an overarching story it reminds me of some old classics like Flapjack, Chowder, and Grim

Love that this is a straight up episodic show and not another "let's be gravity falls" attempt. Not every show needs to have a deep and long going arc to be good.... like serious, ppg, dexters lab, chowder and so many more. Heck, if you are honest, rick and morty is actually episodic.
Rick and Morty annoys me by how they want to have their cake and eat it of being episodic at their core but also wanting to have continuity (seemingly as a troll joke for the audience who wants more Focus on the sci fi stuff; and to have slow character development stick). And be a deconstruction of sci fi stuff. Ironic, given the nature of the show, You could easily have them in S1 having a an episodic formula of "Rick's adventures causes something tó change the status quo forever, Only for everything to go back to status quo next episode (like Dexter's laboratory did) and then at the end of the Season, reveal every episode so far, has been their own different universe. Ending S1 With "Rick's potion #9", and have that set of Rick and Morty go to the universe we saw in previous episodes.

this song is extremely catchy and really gets to the point, exactly the way a Disney Channel theme song should. however I cant lie, whenever she sings "I'm never ever EVER gonna be alone again!" I feel such melancholy. Molly's fear of being alone and not being able to form lasting and meaningful connections - as well as any relief she can have from that fear - is an element of her personality that is expressed so...naturally. Like it's become a part of her already, at the tender age of 13. It's not quite as extreme (or frenzied) as her desire to make a difference and spread positivity - shoot, at times her fear actually blends in with that desire. But...maybe that's the point. This sweet and precious girl is tugging at my heartstrings already, and I just started watching the show yesterday. This show is special. Really special.
I feel like the reason why the ghost is cursed is because he actually cursed Molly to be with him forever, to scare her. But his plan totally flops and now he's stuck with Molly, regretting his decision

Nothing is done with it, its just shoved in your face as a "joke" and like the actual jokes it's pretty NOT funny, but hey it's representation so it doesn't matter if it's GOOD, right? Who needs compelling characters, character growth, basic world building, general story structure, heck even in the 15 small minutes each episode gets they manage to ruin the pacing of the show, and I've got PLENTY of examples Character growth: remember that episode where we got 2 minutes of information on willow? Yeah, WHAT DID THEY EVER DO WITH THAT INFORMATION AFTERWARDS. Compelling characters: remember when we were supposed to care about luz and her 2 character traits, and those traits being 1. Quirky and 2. Weird, that's it, the show is so basic it had the line "us weirdos gotta stick together" in its pilot World building: yeah what even IS the boiling isles, let's not take the first season to grow the world and characters for a Compelling story in season 2 NAH let's do the cool stuff now and then LATER give character growth, even if its a dumb move, I don't see luz using a loophole to do magic no I see a girl using sticky notes to make good animation happen. Pacing: the best example of this is the detention gang, they make a good setup and then defeat the episodes villain (which wasn't needed at all) in 2 minutes and they screw THEMSELVES over by allowing luz to study every magic type after JUST explaining why another main character couldn't do that, yeah cause it makes sense that a teacher that doesn't break the rules would break the rules cause she defeated a monster after ESCAPING FROM DETENTION, which for them is torture not OUR detention, he should have thrown luz right back in there but didn't, why? Cause the plot demands it! Now tell me how I'm wrong, tell me how guz and willow do anything that shows growth in the season finale, heck apart from the sisters what does luz do that she didn't have the determination to do? She does what she's been wanting to do since episode 1, no change or realization, just a girl living a fantasy
Honestly even though it won’t be as complex and mystical as owl house gravity falls or amphibia I really want to see it. In my eyes it’s just a regular cartoon that wants to be very cute and fun and reminds me of “Dude that’s my ghost” except more modern and cuter

this song is extremely catchy and really gets to the point, exactly the way a Disney Channel theme song should.
however I cant lie, whenever she sings "I'm never ever EVER gonna be alone again!" I feel such melancholy. Molly's fear of being alone and not being able to form lasting and meaningful connections - as well as any relief she can have from that fear - is an element of her personality that is expressed so...naturally. Like it's become a part of her already, at the tender age of 13. It's not quite as extreme (or frenzied) as her desire to make a difference and spread positivity - shoot, at times her fear actually blends in with that desire. But...maybe that's the point.
This sweet and precious girl is tugging at my heartstrings already, and I just started watching the show yesterday. This show is special. Really special.

I feel like the reason why the ghost is cursed is because he actually cursed Molly to be with him forever, to scare her. But his plan totally flops and now he's stuck with Molly, regretting his decision

Or they get a new freaking network president and they decide we’re gonna get rid of that show because I don’t like it or we’re voting it off! Or it’s not generating enough money, or some bull crap! Half the time the reason why shows get canceled is because they don’t freaking have enough trailers for new episodes or certain things or some people just don’t like the animation style because people don’t have no freaking taste in good art anymore! Like for example, Gravity Falls that was an amazing show of course they took freaking forever to get season two out at the time and I still think they should’ve had more interesting adventures!
I think the creators planned it to have 3 seasons and having that many seasons would have been absolutely peak

Nothing is done with it, its just shoved in your face as a "joke" and like the actual jokes it's pretty NOT funny, but hey it's representation so it doesn't matter if it's GOOD, right? Who needs compelling characters, character growth, basic world building, general story structure, heck even in the 15 small minutes each episode gets they manage to ruin the pacing of the show, and I've got PLENTY of examples
Character growth: remember that episode where we got 2 minutes of information on willow? Yeah, WHAT DID THEY EVER DO WITH THAT INFORMATION AFTERWARDS.
Compelling characters: remember when we were supposed to care about luz and her 2 character traits, and those traits being 1. Quirky and 2. Weird, that's it, the show is so basic it had the line "us weirdos gotta stick together" in its pilot
World building: yeah what even IS the boiling isles, let's not take the first season to grow the world and characters for a Compelling story in season 2 NAH let's do the cool stuff now and then LATER give character growth, even if its a dumb move, I don't see luz using a loophole to do magic no I see a girl using sticky notes to make good animation happen.
Pacing: the best example of this is the detention gang, they make a good setup and then defeat the episodes villain (which wasn't needed at all) in 2 minutes and they screw THEMSELVES over by allowing luz to study every magic type after JUST explaining why another main character couldn't do that, yeah cause it makes sense that a teacher that doesn't break the rules would break the rules cause she defeated a monster after ESCAPING FROM DETENTION, which for them is torture not OUR detention, he should have thrown luz right back in there but didn't, why? Cause the plot demands it!
Now tell me how I'm wrong, tell me how guz and willow do anything that shows growth in the season finale, heck apart from the sisters what does luz do that she didn't have the determination to do? She does what she's been wanting to do since episode 1, no change or realization, just a girl living a fantasy

Honestly even though it won’t be as complex and mystical as owl house gravity falls or amphibia I really want to see it. In my eyes it’s just a regular cartoon that wants to be very cute and fun and reminds me of “Dude that’s my ghost” except more modern and cuter
i just started watching this show the other day and im almost done with it but from the first episode i couldnt get over how cute this theme song is
its catchy and fun but its also really cute seeing scratch go from being annoyed to happy; and through the song during the first part theyre singing together i feel like scratch sounds sort of annoyed but by the last part they sound happier and it is just really good music idk i think its a great title theme
