Liebherr - LHM 800 Mobile Harbour Crane in Container Operation for Montecon

After a 13,000 km long journey from Rostock, Germany to Montevideo, Uruguay both LHM 800 were brought into operation by Liebherr service engineers. Due to the machines exceptional high eye-level and Liebherrs hybrid power booster Pactronic® both cranes perfectly configured for high efficient container operation. The quay set up in the Port of Montevideo allows them to service vessels that are as wide as 21 container rows across.

In principle I would agree, never let a shackle pin touch anything that could move, ever. However, in this case they are using nuts_and_bolts pins which reducing the risk of accidents. But again I agree, bad work technique.
