    nice presentation. Also great feature is that point color exists in masking too so we can make local adjustments. Solo mode in panels and in masking is a great new feature to spare lot of time scrolling panels.

    Thanks, Jim. I was wondering how to target the Fall Colors and you helped once again to see what I can do to improve my photos.

    Hi Jim,
    Point Color is a really powerful and helpful tool. The best thing about it is that it makes it possible for the first time to edit colors directly in the masking tools of Lightroom and Camera RAW.
    Knowing you, I'm sure you'll make a video about this soon 🙂

      Thanks Andreas and yes that is a huge benefit. I may explore that in a video but haven't planned it out yet. Thanks for watching!

    Jim, I really like this feature and appreciate the demonstration. Unfortunately, I don’t have LR as my subscriptions are with LN and ON1. I can probably do something similar with those apps, but there’s no way the interfaces they use are as simple as this LR feature. Thanks for the tip.

      Thanks for watching and at this time, you can't do this level of color control in Neo or On1, but of course that may change. But still those products have amazing color tools that I love to use as well.

    Thanks Great demo Jim it seems to me that the same thing maybe a little softer in camera RAW What do you think?

    • @JimNix
      @JimNix  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you but what do you mean by softer in Camera Raw? I rarely use CR since I favor LR. Thanks.

      Just that the interventions with sliders are softer and more delicate!! maybe that's my impression Looking forward to seeing your next videos Thank you

    Is this similar to the Direct Color Editor in Capture One?

    • @JimNix
      @JimNix  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Good question Jay but I have no idea since I have never used Capture One. I'm just not familiar with it.
