@SlidingFun Pegs are best for downhill, were usualy doing 30-70kmph on downhill runs so pedals arent needed. Pedals are fun for the flat stuff and the skate parks ect and any slower hills that might have flatter parts where you want to keep up your speed for the next corner
@666bulletboy There are all sorts of designs out there, best option is to go to drifttrikes . com and visit the forums and see some of the creations on there. I think our SBPnz sponsored trike runs 16mm bolts welded onto a rear bar with wheels (bearing, pneumatic) on them. Socket set does the tightening up and your good to go!
Hey SBPNZ, I'm looking at buying a Drift Trike and I've had a look on Trademe but don't really know what to look for, like exspensive ones or cheap ones..If you could get back to me, Cheers Anakin
@cjrolph Go Karts wheels are regarded as the best, but you can use pnumatic wheels like you would find on a lifting trolley. Basicly find wheels with good bearings, and put PVC pipe over the top (Low Grip, Good for 0-40km+ or skateparks) or Polyethylene Pipe (Higher Grip, Generally Thicker Wall and better for the 40-70km runs) At the end of the day it depends on your drift style and what road surface your generally going to be using. Plenty of help available at drifttrikes . com :)
Hi! nice vids! Im building a bike but I really dont understand how does the PVC wheels works... Can u guys explain to me how does they work? Or did anyone knows if theres some kind of vid about how to building them!

u make one out of an old bmx bike, then add some number 9 exhaust tubing and bended to your liking then with a mig welder weld where u need 2 and make a axle using a bit of steel rod and use a 15mm die on the end to put some tread on and with a lathe undercut top of treadand weld to rest of frame!!!!!
i tryed that before but i just left the tires that came on big wheels and put a bike tire on the front. the plastic tires go so hot they finnaly just flew off and i slid about 50 ft down a road and had road rash everywhere lol it sucked
@seabass199 buy a huffy slider find em at local toy store they retail for around 100 bucks its easier to make one but if u say u cant then yeah 100 bucks toys r us big w some kmarts ect

@Goldtacto Yes most of if not all driftrikes have a freewheel, you wouldn't go anywhere without it!

BEST MUSIC IV EVER HEARD IN A DRIFT VIDEO
you guys should check out Mountain Road in Collingwood Ontario Canada. if you could handle that stretch of road. then id be impressed.
that drift trike at 40 seconds is pretty boss
@Racerboi23hjr Blessed with low traffic and generally great people/drivers who always give us the thumbs up :)
So happy that this video had Blindspott in it.
@10GareBear11 Yes alot of regular riders upgrade to disc brakes and some even have brakes to the rear axle(s)
My friend and I are wanting to get drift trikes. Can you recommend a good one to start off with? We don't exactly have the materials to build one.
The PVC wheels simply provide a covering over the rear tires to make the back of the trike loose so that you can slide it around easily.
haha too much boys hats mean!..where do you ge the rear wheels from?
@SBPNZ Hey can you ask the guy sam , about his new orange drift trike what brand he used for the spraypaint and where he got it from
come to Christchurch we got some mean as hills
@SBPNZ you should take a crank off of a bmx bike the ones where you can pedal backwards so the wheel can spin forward without spinning the pedals
@PlayerUnkown We know... they have some kick ass roads!! Jealous to say the least. :)

What program do you guys use to edit?
How do you hold the pvc on the tires? Just the tires pressure and friction holding it on, or what?
This W124 iz awesom!
