Fyi: a good source for information on Naboo-human culture is the 2020 book, "Queen's Peril" by E. K. Johnston. For the most part the book closely follows the activities of Queen Amidala and her handmaidens/bodyguards, the storyline starting at Padme Amidala's first day as Queen of Naboo and following through to the end of the events depicted in "The Phantom Menace." Within the story are numerous explanations of political and social relations between the Naboo humans, the Gungans, and even some of the politically connected neighboring planets/systems. Also, the book gives more detail to what Queen Amidala is contemplating when Jar Jar declares to Padme that the Gungans have a grand army and that's why, he thinks, the Naboo do not like the Gungans. - On a personal opinion sidenote, I've always found the decision to exchange the captured General Grievous for the captured Anakin Skywalker one of the most hypocritical decisions ever made by Padme Amidala as the capture of Grievous potentially could have ended the Clone/Separatist War. This eventuality is verifiable by the fact that Darth Sidious ordered Darth Tyrannus to capture Anakin Skywalker for the specific purpose of exchanging him for Grievous. Padme's decision to agree with the exchange without the Republic's knowledge/consent is further proof of the treacherous nature of the exchange. And, for me, this exchange really pisses me off because the exchange undermines General Tarpal's noble sacrifice.
I wonder if we’ll get to see Naboo in the high republic era, since most of those stories have so far have been around 230 bby it would be cool to see Human-Gungan relations 80 years before that big war.
