Thank you so much! i also look for reviews before booking, and this is the kind of review that i find most helpful. i'm so glad you were able to book it.
Stayed here in January 2022. We booked like 7 rooms for a large family vacation. It was an awesome hotel to enjoy with all the kids. I have awesome memories ❤️ there
Hello little bit late 😅 but I really like your video. I’m going for my first time at Cancun in this hotel with my family and im watching all review that people did. The only question that I have is does the package all inclusive include all the food in the area restaurant there and the bar all we have to pay for it? Thank you and i love it this review.
Hey! Let me break it down for you in a more casual and conversational way. So, we're comparing the Riu Peninsula resort and the Oasis Palm resort in Cancun for your family of 8, including 5 kids. Here's what you need to know: When it comes to food, both resorts have got you covered. The Riu Peninsula offers a bunch of dining options, from buffet restaurants to specialty places with different cuisines. You'll find a wide range of food choices there. As for Oasis Palm, they also have multiple dining options, but the variety might be a bit more limited compared to the Riu Peninsula. Now, let's talk entertainment. At the Riu Peninsula, you can expect a ton of fun activities for everyone. They have live performances, shows, and even a kids' club where the little ones can enjoy supervised activities. Oasis Palm also offers entertainment like live shows, music, and a kids' club, but it might not be as big-scale as the Riu Peninsula. When it comes to the resort grounds, the Riu Peninsula is pretty spacious and well-maintained. You'll love the lush gardens and pools that create a really nice atmosphere. Oasis Palm, although a bit more compact, still provides enough space for your family to enjoy outdoor activities. Now, size-wise, the Riu Peninsula is the bigger resort of the two. It has more rooms and a wider range of facilities. That means you'll have access to more amenities and it gives a sense of spaciousness. On the other hand, Oasis Palm is smaller but still comfortable enough for a family vacation. It has a more intimate vibe due to its size. Let's talk about amenities. The Riu Peninsula is loaded with them! They have multiple swimming pools, a spa, fitness center, water sports activities, and even a playground and dedicated pool areas for the kids. Oasis Palm provides similar amenities like swimming pools, a spa, fitness center, and a kids' club, but the range might be slightly smaller compared to the Riu Peninsula. Now, here's the cost comparison. The Riu Peninsula is generally pricier because it's a larger resort with more extensive amenities. On the other hand, Oasis Palm offers more budget-friendly options, which could be a good choice if you're looking to save some money. Hope that gives you a better idea of what to expect from both resorts! Consider your family's preferences and budget to make the best choice for your Cancun getaway. Let me know if you have any more questions!
@@travelmanMN gotcha! Oasis Palm definitely isn't adults only, but there are lots of great options in cancun. a came across a few: Excellence Playa Mujeres Le Blanc Spa Resort Secrets The Vine Cancun hopefully those will have the vacation of your dreams.
This grand oasis resort is so confusing why are they’re so many different ones ? I’ve booked the palm this isn’t family orientated is it for spring break 🤦♂️
The Oasis Palm is where we stayed, and it's definitely family oriented, but it's also more affordable, so i could easily see it being popular for spring break
😢 june20-27,2024. this was totally not what I expected. They said it was a resort so I was assuming you get resort treatment far as washing machine and kitchenette. You don’t this is a hotel. When we arrived, it was some type of weird smell that was in the rooms and in the hallways so I couldn’t quite figure out what it was and I’m assuming it was bug spray. reason why I say that is because I saw a cockroaches. there’s two different hotel sides. We had to check in on the grand oasis palm side, which we stayed on the opposite side. Which means we have to carry our luggage up and down the stairs to get to the other side of the hotel. It was raining so that was awkward, it was raining within the hotel on both sides. Water falling from the ceilings😢. The food from the buffet was not the greatest. I notice the restaurants you had to reserve the food taste much better than the buffet style restaurant. The gentleman who made the video describe the place correct, yes you cannot take food out the restaurant they gave me a cup to put your food in It made no sense. Yes, check in took forever. I’m sorry, but I do not recommend this place. I came home and had to wash all my clothes because it had that weird smell that camefrom our room. There was nothing to write home about, staff was nice and did make the stay comfortable. But like the gentlemen said if you’re willing to lower your standards at a cheap price go for it.
Best review I’ve seen anyone make ! Thank you so much. Booked for Aug!

thanks for checking it out, and letting us know about it. these are some great insights
Is mask wearing compulsory in the hotel? Thans
They only inforce masks when ordering food or drinks inside or in the kids club. Most of the time nobody wore masks
Great review
Do they offer complimentary Covid testing?
That’s a great question. The COVID test did cost extra. It was $15 USA per test.
