These things sure are reliable. Had a 2007 GT, put 171,000 miles on it and she still ran like new, looked like new. Never did anything but clean the air filter and change the oil and tires.
The Coyote 5.0 that came after the engine yours has in it, was much quicker, a good 100hp bump in power, but they have reliabilty issues and are not cheap to work on. The 4.6 you have is a pretty bullet proof engine and easy to work on, kind of like GMs old 3800 V6.
@@jeffjackson9679 I don't have the 2007 any more. I have had 4 vehicles with 5.0 Coyote engines....2011 Mustang, 2016 Mustang, 2018 F150, and currently a 2020 Mustang also. All od the Coyotes are strong and reliable.....no issues at all. Change the oil and turture them daily. By record the current 5.0 is quite a bit more reliable than the GM competition. I like the new Camaro with the instant liw end torque and all, but they do break a lot and that's what has kept me away. I am not really all that biased but do love my stangs. Wouldn't mind owning a new Challenger...love the manual shifters they put in them.
Has a wine sound when it accelerates . Power steering pump or an after market / Chinese A/C compressor

Its the intake. I bought one last year after daily driving a 02 Saleen speedster and noticed the whine quite a bit.

Why would someone take the Bullitt rims off a limited edition car? Sure the new rims are nice, but now the Bullitt look is gone.
Right like of all the cars you should change out the wheels on, this aint one of them

Great video my man compared too the newer 5.0 mustangs that old 3valve 4.6 are slow but those were the best looking retro mustangs that did the 1968 390 bulilit mustangs justice 😊✌️

All pops if it has been upgraded to sequential blinkers; that made my 2016 sound like that!
I put a JLT stage 3 CAI tune by LITO Best 3v tuner Ford performance lowering springs, ,hurt shifter x-pipe with pipes axle-back muffler delete, pulley system ,touch screen stereo with backup camera, b&r suspension totally blacked out front and back has just 50 k miles with cutouts sounds great black with red the leather . It's my daily driver and it's been a great car. I use Royal purple 5W20 every 2k miles .It's hard going over speed bumps cause it's been lower 1.5 in with 285/40 18 in back and 255 up front.So many aftermarket parts more so than any other mustang 05 to 09 S197 .Prices are going up getting hard to find now.
I have an '06 with JLT intake and SCT tune. Flowmasters ...and also lowered with Eibach springs. Just wondering if you knew that if you lower the car you need camber adjustment bolts. Stock Mustang did not have ability to adjust camber as drastically as it needed when lowered. Found this out the hard way when my front tires were bald on the insides after only 15K miles. The adjustment bolts are pretty cheap, but you need a fresh alignment after installation.
@@hobbycow5346 yes I had to replace my tire rods and ball joints I upgraded. The exact same thing happened and if that's what it ended up being ball joints and tie rods and up upgrading to a lower control arm too. Now no issues after 3 years
@@methasat When I bought my '06 it was used and already lowered, so I had no idea it was not fully done with the camber adjustment bolts.
Also if you ever change spark plugs, they are notorious for snapping in half! Do NOT try it yourself. And something else that could save you a huge headache...if you ever get a Check Engine Light and the code says it's a bad Cam Position Sensor....it's NOT. It's actually a bad diode in the alternator. Something I learned from personal experience, research, and success based on the research. Only when I put in a new alternator did I clear the code. Also, I pulled the subwoofer out...it made the car handle like crap...tail would wildly swing out in aggressive turns. After I pulled the sub out, the car handles SO much better!
I still love my Mustang after 13 years of ownership. Lowered, 18" Bullitt chrome rims, full louvers, chin splitter and 70 Boss Hood scoop. Still stare at it walking away...lol.
That was disappointing. Need to find a road(s) nearby where you can open these cars so we can see what they can do. It's the only time most of us be riding along in one of them.

Hey Nick absolutely love those mustangs you know when they changed them I think they changed them in 2004 cuz it looked like the older mustangs you know 6970 not the new ones that went off track again but that car is awesome I always love that style it's great and plus it's the bullet so that's neat Jersey the movie it's a good movie keep up the good work Nick

Very nice. Come on the car is 13 so folks need to expect a few paint blemishes. I looked at several and found that these also came in black which is very rare but if your going to have one to drive for the complete feel you need the highland green like this. It also looks well kept and not run through the wringer. Wonder if it still retains the special muffler system for the movie car Bullitt sound. Neat little tidbit is the Mustangs visors mirror covers mimic the cars hoods. Newer models do the same and have the hood bulge in them. Even still 2010 or so to at least 2014 have rear head rests that when folded forward are a nod to Shelby Cobras. The head rest when folded forward is a Cobra head.

It's a bullitt mustang which is a tribute to the movie bullet where the movie car is this same dark green. They did make 1,400 black ones as well.
