Nice video. I’m in NH and it’s that time of year. Watched a couple videos and watched yours as I did it. As far as I can tell it seems like we got it! Of course all the dealers and mechanics for these are booked right up so it’s cool to do my own maintenance.

Great video and very detailed. This was very helpful on my Silverado with the 7'6" SD Fisher plow. I used Fisher oil. Took me awhile after playing n pausing video to get it done. Plow is working great!!!

Thanks for sharing. Like #9 view 21. I thought you sold your sticks and bricks. Why do you have a garage, plow and an F250? Where is the Jeep and Maggie?

@@WeRmudfun I think I was editing my post while you were replying. I recall you selling your house. Are you no longer full-time in Maggie? How is/was the Precept. I am still thinking of getting one.

We did sell Maggie after almost 3 years of full timing. She was a great rig to full time in, very comfortable and tons of storage. Unfortunately, I did develop a spine issue and will be having surgery on the 28th of next month, then recouping for at least 3 months. We didn't want her just sitting around. RV like to be used and we only used her once this year. Thanks for following us for all these years. We appreciate it. We did a video on the GetGonewithUS channel about it... th-cam.com/video/j1HLPBB-Q1w/w-d-xo.html

If you hold the down button for a couple of seconds it puts the plow in float mode. No need for someone to push the ram down. Has that even seen any snow?

It's wasn't even 2 years old when the video wqas recorded. It is only use it for our very long driveway. We like to keep things in good shape. LOL

Just so people know, changing oil doesn't need to get this involved. Drop oil and change once a year and skip removing hoses.

      Whatever works for you. 😀

@WeRmudfun The fluid in the lines will just mix with the new oil. Frequent yearly changes nobody will have a problem. Personally I don't introducing that much air in the cylinders. It causes more wear on start than just letting the oil mix. And yes, I deal with hydraulics for a living.

Again whatever works for you. I have never had a problem doing it the way the manufacturer recommends in all the years of plowing I have done. I appreciate your insight though. 😀
