Maricopa AZ is growing fast I moved here in 2015 and its really taking off due to its Mayberry small town fell and the affordable home ownership . I love the people here.
I'm always amazed that EMR Estrella Mountain Ranch is overlooked by everyone. I don't think many people know about it but its a great area and certainly just as nice as many of the communities in the video. Hopefully future videos will feature or include it.
We moved to North West Phoenix last year. We border Peoria and Glendale and we LOVE it here! I think you’re deeply underestimating the price value here. We paid just under $600,00 for our house. Anyway, great video overall.
Cave Creek is our favorite & that is why we moved here ... cannot afford to live there so we settled near Tramanto & spend most of our time there. And Fountain Hills is amazing, just not so easy to get to. Red Mountain in Mesa is quite nice as well.
Been watching your videos for a while, inspired my wife and i to visit phoenix. Just curious, why don't you ever mention WAYMO? Particularly in this video when talking about the Tempe transportation system? Waymo is incredible and such a unique thing that is almost exclusive to phoenix area.
There are some places in Phoenix that stream cut the liners on the drop float even before a night cut. The ones in rural to the spear oats may become more still point then the other. Lets down in a issue for it.
What's the deal with Apache Junction? I know it's not considered one of the safer areas, but you'd think with the views of the Superstition Mountains to the east there'd be some prime real estate.
You'd think so - it's the only place I'd consider living in the whole metro area but then my goal is if I'd have to live in the big city mess getting out of it fast into nature is the most important. I think Apache Junction will be one of the next big places to live in the future.
stat wise it's actually much safer than a lot of places in Phoenix like Tolleson, South Glendale, South Mountain and Downtown. AJ is like a mix of older communities and also a hiker vibe. I love Tucson but their crime is really what's bad sadly.
Which area would be best for a retired New Yorker who doesn't drive a car? I live in Mesa but know someone from NY asking about a nice area. My thoughts are Tempe or Scottsdale. I will have to do some exploring. Thanks for the video.
Best place to move to is more north or west around the 303. The new areas, because they have new engineering better planning and so on. Scottsdale and other established cities are just a "brand name", they are older, with older roads and engineered like 20-50 years ago and also just because of a cities name and desirability, you pay more for car insurance and other stuff too.
If you were to choose between an existing construction vs. new construction in Arizona, considering it has similar payments, location, etc. which one would you choose and why?
So many factors to consider. The benefit of new construction is the warranties in place and shouldnt have any structural issues or other problems. If it does happen the builder will fix it. With old construction you dont have to worry about building out the yard etc. Should already be there. With new construction you will likely have to pay to build that. But the benefit is you get to design how it looks. I guess overall new builds seem to be best in my opinion.
Can you pls tell me why? Considering moving to phoenix for school and I’m torn between staying back in California for my program and choosing the one in phoenix
You didn't cover Mesa and Surprise. So you mean they don't make to top 10? I know East Mesa is very clean and there is a lot of development there considering Mesa being a very large city compared to lot of others you have covered and Surprise won a lot of awards last year for best planning.
This video is targeted for mid priced homes. None of these areas are the "best" areas. Paradise Valley, N Scottsdale, Cave Creek and Carefree average home prices average over $1 million+.
People drive fast in Phoenix..end of story. They also loved their jacked up pickup trucks and noisy bikes. They aren't happy unless they are driving like a holes and making a lot of racket
I love your videos and your expertise on Arizona. I truly appreciate your opinion on different topics from politics, housing costs, jobs, safe neighborhoods, places to visit, etc. Would you be willing to comment on the illegal immigration movement through Arizona? Is it causing major problems throughout Arizona and especially the Phoenix area? I want to move there, but I have no respect for your governor and what is happening on the border. I am true supporter of the 2nd amendment, and I am fearful she wants to destroy it.
I moved to AZ before the rigged election. Hobbs prides herself in vetoing most of the Republican-passed bills. This is the first time in 70 years that the Marxists have control of the Senators and the governorship. (Not much homelessness where I live. It was below freezing at 7 AM on 3/10).
Arizona is unsafe everywhere. ADT crime map basically has all of Phoenix red. Compared with Midwest and Eastern states, Arizona basically all the same. I'd recommend South Mountain, east of Central. Affordable, 15 min to airport, 15 min to downtown, 15 min to Tempe, 5 min to South Mountain hiking. Only negative is no Indian restaurants.
There's No water and the likelihood we'll have enough in the future is So sad. This desert is sensitive and delicate; it cannot support all this overdevelopment. It used to be such a beautiful place and now it's paved like a parking lot. Residents all over complain of too much development, over-crowding, and traffic problems. So they pave more. I would say choose another place or visit during the blistering summer before you decide to move here. That said, I still love it, remembering how it used to be.
Phoenix city is best place to live. It has everything one needs.
Been here 11 years, love it. Will be here till i die. I now live at South Mountain. Longest time I've lived anywhere. And I've lived many places
Glendale is great lived here 15 year. Arrowhead Lakes is awesome.
Love it up here in Prescott. Phoenix is L.A. without the ocean.
No, no ocean
@@nmitis5446I understand (March 26th,2024 and April 3rd,2024/🙂).
Grew up in Peoria, now live in Central Phoenix and I want nothing more than to get back to Peoria.
Fountain Hills mentioned!
Maricopa AZ is growing fast I moved here in 2015 and its really taking off due to its Mayberry small town fell and the affordable home ownership . I love the people here.
I was just in Maricopa and was amazed at all the new restaurants and business areas... it's growing FAST!
I'm so glad you mentioned Fountain Hills ⛲️! I live here and I love it.
Let me guess, you love it because there’s so much to do? 🙄🙄🙄🙄
Deer Valley is my favorite, Peoria is nice too
Queen creek had 3 houses when I grew up😊

My daughter will head down there for college in the Fall. I hope she will bring you guys some rain from Seattle 😊

Glad to see this channel back. I love cave creek. I wouldn’t live anywhere else. My family is there and in Sierra vista.
East Mesa towards Usery Mountain is my favorite
like Las Sendas? !
You must like amphetamines.
@@NosebergEatzbugsVonShekelsteinI think you’re confused about the area of Las Sendas?

I highly recommend south Phoenix for all you newcomers!
😂
I just gotta have AC for that 120° heat I’m good. Went to Phoenix for the first time a few weeks ago most easiest downtown Drive better than LA.
Would love to see a video on surprise az updated

Waymo is good. I like the concept.
Great Video! Lots of great info to think about as i slowly plan my move to the area!
Im convinced you've never heard of Surprise. You should check it out sometime. 303 and peoria all the way north to greenway are the nicest parts
We need to keep Surprise out of this conversation. Too many people moving in already!!
another informative video, thx Jeff
Thanks Jeff!

A.J will be in a few years. I think the new build up will be called Superstition Springs, or something like that. There are big plans for that area.

The need to change the name of Apache Junction it has a stigma dumps and drug addicts
It is starting to change. It seems like it is the next Queen Creek with its new developments.
Gilbert has surpassed Scottsdale AZ w/ family medium income .
Is Dolls House still open in Scottsdale? They had the best chili 😋
Just moved to Maricopa and it’s nice out here, no?
Forgot about Arizona’s hockey team, Coyotes, in Tempe 😢

You pretty much need a car anywhere in the valley.
6:35 Tempe
I just love Maryvale, in the 1960s
There is a really nice neighborhood just south of Missouri in between 16th and 20th Streets. It is hidden away - most do not know about it.
Sounds like a invite to cannibal town like in movies
Must not have heard of Surprise.
Please show Good Year and Estrella Mountains.

would love a version of these videos where you show places that’s best for single men to live 😅

How you gonna leave PV and Arcadia, north central off the list? PV is where the real wealth is.
Do you think Arizona will get like California ?
Never! 2 diff states! geography and size
@@nmitis5446 I’m talking about politics. I heard Arizona was red but now it’s turning blue
The best place to live in Phoenix is anywhere but Phoenix........
@azvoltmanphoenix446 Bye Felicia.

Bullshit north side is amazing! Hidden gem!

we have the Kx3 headquarters in Glendale. you'll fit right in.
Gilbert is not safe no wonder he would say it's safe his brother sells houses there
None of those places are Phoenix. They are in Arizona just as Phoenix is.
So in other words Glendale is hood !??
Yo no me quiero mudar al desierto
Well, if it wasn’t becoming too much like California and with a border problem.
I left Phoenix 43 years ago. Arizona was a great place to grow up, but I left because there were too many people.
It’s turned into California.
OMG! All of the homes are beige or brown and they all look the same, Are there any places to live that aren't part of a HoA?
