I'm glad Rusty has a good family there, but you (and we) will miss seeing him terribly. Leaving a place is hard, even if you're pretty sure it is a good move, Sean. This is a big deal for you and for us, Sean. But soon you'll be popping up the other end of the tunnel.
So sad saying farewell to our sweet little Rusty! Going to miss that handsome boy. I've followed you for 10 1/2 years now and have loved seeing that little chap. He's one of the reasons I've always loved rewatching your older Rusty Allotment episodes. Thank you for this last little walk around the allotment. Those final shots brought me to tears. I'm going to miss that sweet kitty cat!
Im so glad that Rusty showed up. I dont think he entirely understood it was a goodbye though. Who knows? What a lovely fellow. He loves you no doubt. All the very best Sean. I myself am in the process of a big move and oh my goodness it is hard! So lead the way!!!! 😘
What a heart wrenching goodbye to Rusty, bless him. ❤ I hope your friend will carry on feeding him and thank goodness you've given him that extra love and care over the years x
Tough to say goodbye to all those memories but a lovely look back for all of us who have followed you for a long time, good that you will still get updates on rusty. Good luck on you’re homecoming I am sure you will be happy and create new memories look forward to seeing all you do
Im not crying at the emotional goodbye to Rusty. Lots of lovely memories you had with him. It's lovely you’ll get updates on him. Wishing you the best with your move.
I have watched your channel for years, this is probably the saddest moment I have ever experienced. A new chapter. Good luck to you and Rusty. May your futures be bright. 28:55
I was holding it together til that last shot when Rusty looked back at you , yep I’m now sobbing, so lovely that you spent some peaceful time with him ❤x
I’ve just watched this video properly to the end. The tears are streaming down my face and down the front of my chest. It’s killing me . And I’m a dog lover .
Nice to.look around your old allotment many happy times there. Good to see Rusty came to say his goodbyes to you..What a beautiful cat may there be long happy memories of him. You still honour him in your Homestead which is lovely.❤
I'm glad you did this walk through and goodbye to Rusty. I was thinking , hoping you'd do this while you cooked your Christmas dinner. It's good to have a final look, and say your goodbyes. Enjoy your new home and life.
Well that was a tough one. I'm too much of a crazy cat dad I guess! My oldest, that I have had for a while now (adopted from a local shelter 9 years or so back) is named Misty and she is 18 as well. Just had to deal with a minor UTI and had her checked out. She's healthy, if not tiny now in her old age, and apparently starting to develop cataracts. Such a loving little lap cat. My other 2 are both sisters from the same litter and are 4 years old now as I picked them up as kittens. I think he knows something is up as they have a keen sense of change but regardless glad you were able to say goodbye to the old boy. It's never easy, especially for us pet pushovers but glad you will be getting some updates.
Been following you Sean since the original rusty plot with Geoff, still got my plot, thanks for all your time you’ve given over the yrs and I wish you all the luck in 2024
Loved hearing about the history of the allotments all the people you shared so much gardening fun with and finally seeing dear Rusty was a treat as he walk along following you and having the last cuddle. I think having an animal in the video really makes it special. Thankyou Sean I look forward to your next allotment plot. Hope you settle well and happy.
Thank You, so much for sharing. I've not been able for over a year now, to join you on your adventures, due to no internet. You were walking the London loop and showing flamingos and had been talking of perhaps moving to Wales. So now that I'm back, your leaving and I will join you on your adventures. I will miss Rusty also. On December 26, Boxing Day, I was born, just had my 72th birthday. I wish you only the BEST! I will be joining you, as long as I am able. Thank You, Again and Again, for your peaceful walks and talks. You are a blessing, to many of us.
Hi Sean I hope your Christmas is enjoyable, you seem a little tired and Bored about London, like me facing into work and am other year of work I am questioning how to find enjoyment balance in a work situation too. And funny enough I have been working almost 20 years too. Like you staying in London 20 years. You might catch up with Tamara once you are back in Wales you might join a Welsh choir too. If you are in Wales would you be able to visit Shrewsbury sometime from Wales. Thanks for all your gardening videos and information I really hope you stay well and keep healthy with your fitness plan.
I'm in the process of moving, too. I have a whole house to sort out, on my own. Most of my furniture, etc is going to an organisation, which helps homeless people move into new homes, because I have no use for it all, at my new place. It's an absolute nightmare and I can't wait for it to be done. Hope your move goes well, Sean.
Rusty knows it’s probably the last time he will see you animals are not stupid he knows something up 😢 but there’s know looking back hopefully only good times ahead 😀
Watched this last night and was in floods of tears again. Rusty was adorable and you can see how much he loved you and you loved him. He reminds me of my old Ginger cat Jason (J) from when i was young. I'm still struggling with the loss of my furry friend, Prinny. I hope i see her and all my little friends again in the next life 🙂
Catching up on your video and just finished watching this one ❤ We tend to forget we are souls, as well as physical bodies carrying earthly emotions. This here is a prime example of souls meeting again in this lifetime - Rusty and you, Sean, and once the meet up has 'matured' (i.e. being next to each other helping each other through hurdles life throws into our direction), then souls depart willingly, until they agree to meet up again... Do not be suprised if a ginger cat shows up on your new homestead, once you have started putting the shed up and the fence with The Rusty Homestead plaque...
Merry Christmas Sean sorry it a little late, been so busy. Bet it's a scary thought leaving every think behind. Bet your counting down the days now. Bet u just want to go now and get on with your new life. Have a nice new year 🎉
Very poignant....❤ Rusty. There will be moments of sadness as you mark your 'last' of certain places and people that have been part of your life for many years. Your new life awaits you and will give you a new zest for life in no time. Top tip:never trim curtains while they are hanging up 😅😅 lots of luck Sean as you prepare for moving day.
This was a tough one to watch. Started off being hilarious and then turned into one of the saddest things I have watched for a while. Wonder if Rusty's owners realise what an impact he has had in your life.
Bit of a lump in my throat Sean, always hard saying goodbye to animals, people and places that have been so much part of your life. At least you know Rusty is in safe hands. I am fairly sure you will be adopted again, cats especially seem to have a fine sense in working out who the good humans are. Best of luck for the move ahead, exciting times, even if you look back now with a bit of sadness to be leaving after 20 years.
Just heard the sad news of the passing of Rusty which must be very upsetting for you Sean especially so soon after leaving your London allotment. R.I.P. Rusty.
Hi Sean. So sad to say goodbye to Rusty. I've been watching your videos for 20 years almost. I haven't had access to my email or the internet for months until now. There is a lady in Wales you might know. She wrote a book titled Seeking the Green. Best wishes and all of God's blessings to you in 2024. When I am able I will become a patron again. Lynne
That parting shot of little Rusty looking back. Oh my heart 🥹
Very sad the parting with Rusty.
Even more poignant to think he died about 3 weeks later following this 😢

SUCH A BEAUTIFUL PHOTO OF YOU AND DEAR RUSTY SEAN. SOMEthing to treasure always ❤️
So sad to say goodbye to a place that got me through so many rough patches. Thank you Sean for helping me say goodbye too.
I was holding it together til that last shot when Rusty looked back at you , yep I’m now sobbing, so lovely that you spent some peaceful time with him ❤x
It looked like rusty was saying
“ it’s time for me to move on too dad.. i love you, see you on the other side , on the glorious rainbow bridge”
Dear Rusty looking back at the end but moving on as you will too Sean.
That's one cool cat! He'll be fine Sean, and so will you!
I’ve just watched this video properly to the end.
The tears are streaming down my face and down the front of my chest.
It’s killing me .

I was so glad that Rusty came and that you'll have some wonderful footage of him when you want to look back. What a sweet, old fella!!
Awe bless Rusty. I think we all will miss him.

BTW 63 or 64 inch curtains are a very standard size.... you're landlord will be happy to learn that, and maybe you will too!
😆👍👍👍
Went to Porthcawl for a coffee and a walk
Okay.. here's another book title you can write... About the cats etc...
