Tsaghkadzor (Armenian: Ծաղկաձոր) is a spa town and urban municipal community,[2] as well as one of the most popular health resorts in Armenia, located north of the capital Yerevan in the Kotayk Province.
Tsaghkadzor literally means valley of flowers or flower canyon in Armenian. The name of Tsaghkadzor is associated with the name of the nearby Tsaghkunyats Mountains, located to the west of the town.
Originally, it was known as Tsaghkunyats Dzor (Ծաղկունյաց ձոր) by its foundation during the 3rd century. In the 11th century, the town was known as Kecharuyk (Կեչառույք), or Kecharis (Armenian: Կեչառիս), derived from the Kecharis Principality under the Armenian Pahlavuni family. Later, during the 17th century, the town was called Darachichak by the Turkic invaders, keeping the name until 1947, when it was renamed Tsaghkadzor.
Tsaghkadzor is a major sports center for Armenia. The Tsaghkadzor Olympic Sports Complex was opened in 1967 through the efforts of the Olympic champion Hrant Shahinyan, specifically to host the preparation of the Soviet athletes for the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City. Entirely renovated and reopened in 2008, it is considered one of the most developed training facilities in Transcaucasia, with its modernized hotel and sanatorium.
The Tsaghkadzor ski resort operating since 1986, is the center of winter sports in Armenia. The skiing season in Tsaghkadzor normally starts in mid-December and stretches well into March with the top slopes often fit for skiing in April.
Tsaghkadzor hosted the 2015 FIDE World Team Chess Championship between 18 and 29 April 2015.
The Olympic complex hosts the annual competition of the "Best Sports Family" held every year during summer.

Hello Виктория, Yes. Tsaghkadzor is beautiful whether in summer or wintertime. I guess there was a lot of snow in January or February. A friend of mine was there and sent me some videos. For me, I prefer the summer more.. Thank you 🥰

That was not as scary as I expected! I like how it keeps you about 30ft off the ground at all times. My biggest worry would be having to use the bathroom 😅.
I like the voice intro, the quick driving footage, and the cool little shooting range up top. Music choice was very relaxing as well for the trip up and down. It's a top notch quality video and lucky for you doesn't require all too much editing 🤠
