I have very fond memories of my Tokyo RPTQ deck that ran both knights of grace and malice before slamming History of Benalia and then some Angels, so this one is special to me. Thanks!
Looks good, when deciding what I was going to end up chasing/building for foundations I had considered orzov knights but I was contemplating using a very different set up with a lategame built around Danitha bringing back a sheltered by ghosts or a basilisk collar that sacrificed to Invasion of New Capenna. Midknight Reaper was the value engine fueled by Virtue of persistance and valkerie's call. The main reason i didn't end up going for it was due to most of my builds were relying on ayara's oathsworn which is such a specific rare to spend wildcards on, especially when we'd get less than a year with it.
I started with oathsworn in the list, and I love the idea for the engine you were using! I just ended up wanting to be super aggressive and evasive so I went with almost exclusively the 2 drop knights. I chose knight errant of eos over midnight reaper as it was frustrating to have my 3 drop die to cut down and the vigilant knights from virtue help with attacking and still getting to dig for more knights. I would enjoy trying a list with danitha though I love her!
@@severin_7 Yeah the first iteration of it also included x3 scavenging talent, bartolome, and Syr Ginger....... But I had realized I had basically waltzed right back into one last tamiyo jeskai enchantment levels of memery again.
Yes I was pleasantly surprised with how it performed, I think elenda and banner really added a lot of value to the archetype! Thanks for checking it out!
Sev that first game would have drove me nuts. I don’t understand all the time in the tank from the opponent lol. Cool deck list! I’m a huge fan of archetype decks. Quite fond of vampires myself haha.
Yeah I try to be patient lol. I have always been a fan of decks like this, I feel like it's the core of what the game is at least to me. Thanks for checking it out!
Wonder if having the bloomburrow banner for a mana rock and anthem might be worth it, but card draw is probably a bigger concern than anything else. And a one of raise the past amuses me.
Sorry you feel that way, I never said it was a tier deck but it had a 60% WR over the 40 games I played so it's not awful performance wise. The knights happen to be very good in a meta full of black and white based removal. Appreciate you checking it out anyways!
@@don945646 there isn't really a way for me to express that it's not paper in the thumbnail without cluttering it up that is why it's in the title, but again I am sorry
I mean it's not ideal no, but it's not like not having turn one plays ruins a deck. lots of decks don't have turn one plays. Its a fun deck and it performed well enough despite it.

Yeah I miss History of Benalia! That was a really fun standard format. I am so glad you enjoyed it, thank you for checking it out!

@@ericwolf9664 I get you but yeah brewing is what its all about. I wanted to include syr ginger so bad lol
Cool to see Knights having a Shot, so far i always failed to make them work, but rhis is looking very smooth.

I got jabaited, i gave you a dislike because I thought that this was for irl. Not looking for arena
I apologize, I mean I do put that it's bo1 in the title which is an arena only format, I apologize if you felt mislead.
@severin_7 it's the thumbnail that's misleading especially if I see the video when I google something.

This deck is pretty bad. It has 0 turn one plays, which is giving your oppo, esp when you are on the draw, two free turns.
