Hello friends, I wanted to make a video about being a low-energy person for a while, but I feel like I can’t always carry my thought across too well. I’ve always known I’ve been a lower energy person, but so happened in life that I haven’t really had a chance to embrace it. I think being very active, hustling, social has become my coping mechanism, basically making it impossible to be with myself fully, process my thoughts and strive in this fabricated personality that I had, when I was younger. I won’t go into detail here, but I did come to conclusion that part of that personality has been a sort of trauma response. I was afraid of being undeserving, thinking that if I hustle more, that will somehow make me “enough”. I was always (and still sometimes am) afraid to come off as “lazy”, “unmotivated”, “unsuccessful”, and I did everything I could to not seem that way, burning out in my mid 20s. Which in turn led me here, where I am right now. I learned that being naturally calm & low energy isn’t bad. It doesn’t mean “unproductive”, “lazy”, “unmotivated”. In fact, it still takes me exactly same amount of time to do things I want, but.. without burning out. I’m still often busy. I still want many things too. Life is still fast quite often. But I give myself time when I need it. And come back stronger after I had time to take care of myself. I learned to appreciate my low energy personality and days when I want to just exist, as that is my body’s way of telling me to slow down. Sometimes we all need it. Are you a naturally low or high energy person? I'm curious to know your opinion on this!
I totally agree. I'm also a low energy person and, like you, I tried to hide it, but I am now living a slow, gentle and peaceful life, and with the wisdom of age, no longer care what other people think. I'm glad you are able to finally be yourself, and we love you for it.
I think I'm pretty much like you, Daria! 😊 It is terrible how we blame ourselves for things that are not under our control. I think we, introverts, loose so much energy in the social interactions of everyday life that we spend most of the time with our energy supply almost depleted 😅. I recently discovered I was a coeliac, and then suddenly understood that was the reason it took so much effort to keep up with the rhythm expected from me as a child! At the time, I thought everyone was so extremely tired and pained as I was, but they just managed to cover it more effectively, as they all looked so genuinely lively!😅 I thought feeling tired was the same as being lazy, that it was a character fault I had. This realisation has made me consider how unfair with ourselves we can be, even unknowingly! 😊 Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and giving us an outlet to do the same!🤗🤗🤗🥰
I was born with juvenile arthritis and asthma, so I learned early on how to live a slow life. I wake up early, eat a good breakfast, and read a book off and on throughout my days off of work. Each time I get up to make a new cup of tea or tinkle, I make a point to do a small chore. Laundry, dishes, etc. I even decide to tidy one room of my home and tackle it a little at a time with small breaks. Everything gets done, just not by noon. It would drive my mother nuts when I was a kid, but it works for me. ❤😊 keep being you
I‘m just so happy that I found you here on TH-cam last year! I get so much joy and peace from every single one of your beautiful videos. And as a very intoverted person myself it’s just nice to know I‘m not the only one out there ☺️ Best wishes, Manuela
I just want to say thank you for making your videos, and your whole channel. I live in Los Angeles, but grew up in a rural mountain town. Your videos take me back to my childhood where I had a slower life that was more connected to nature. Your channel has been helping me slow down my life overall, and I greatly appreciate you reminding me to do that through your channel. Also the aesthetic is just beautifully crafted, I can’t imagine how much hard work goes into creating and editing these! You’re so talented. Lastly, thank you again!!! -Joe in Southern California
Your videos are very calming. I appreciate your honesty and opening up about being an introvert and loving a slower way of living. It's okay to step away from all the busyness and to be your authentic self. Your baked apples looked delicious and so cozy for the next days breakfast. Take care. See you again soon. ❤
Dear Daria, I am also a laid back low key person who loves to simply just BE! And ever since I realised that, I am doing my best towards a calm soft life! I think it all comes to identifying the rhythm of our body and working accordingly. I have also felt many times I am at my best when alone! And this video came at the right time! All your resonating messages, the video clips, the dessert, everything seems beautiful to me! ❤
I always find it amusing that you're saying that the days are cold and gloomy, yet you manage to create such a beautiful atmosphere which brings pure joy and soothes the heart and soul. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and we are blessed to witness the world through yours :) Love this video and found very funny the instructions to "play with the cat" whilst something is cooking 😂 Also that silly jump of his at around 14:18 looked so funny! Lovely video as always! Well done and thank you for continuing making them! ❤
hello Daria I just wanted to say your videos give me so much peace and comfort. your content is so calming to the soul 🌱 you really inspire me.thank you for creating these beautiful and calming videos ❤️ ps, hope you have a lovely wonderful and peaceful day ahead ☺️💕
Hello Daria, it's so good for my soul to see your videos with 'slow' content. It makes me so happy and peaceful, find myself breathing in a right way! You're such a creative person, it motivates to pick up a hobby when i feel no energy at all. And i also like doing 'nothing', just trying to be with some tea or coffee and look out the window to watch the birds. I sometimes struggle if i'm enough and I need to take time to recharge my battery. My head gets clearer then and i feel some peace! Looking forward to your next video 🧡
Delightful! Thank you for the baked apples recipe. I so enjoyed the scenery you showed, the buds promising spring, the swans and an eagle too, I think. This was a gentle, encouraging and thoughtful video, thank you Daria.❤
Hello friend. As always, thank you for offering a brief repose from the business of life. How I love the walks and seeing the flowers, especially the snowdrops. Sadly, we don't have those where I live. You did a rather energetic pruning, Ms Gardener. :) The rewards will be evident soon of your hard work. Your apples looked very tasty. Thank you for sharing the recipe. I look forward to the delicious fragrance filling my home soon. While viewing your video, my kitty was curled in my lap snoozing. When you started to play with yours, mine woke up and watched. I found it quite amusing. I do hope you have a lovely week. Until next time........
Thank you so much for your videos! You're always somehow saying what I need to hear during certain times of the year. ❤ I'm still trying to come to terms with it that I'm a low energy person too 😅. I'm so thankful that I love the job that I do. And thankfully my kid is already 10 and not that demanding anymore. But my heart goes out to all the low energy people that have to work a 40 hour work week and take care of the family and more. And cannot comprehend how people are living like this. Most important advice I can give is just that you do not always have to give your 100%.
To embrace one’s self as is shows what growth can mean the struggle to become is so prevalent when we are teenagers and through out our 20s learning who we are what we want in life taking on different characters in our own life…just as the first signs of a new season begin we too seem to truly blossom in our 30s all the trials and errors of our past start to fade our vision starts to clear we come into our own acceptance of who we are and take hold of our future selves in a way we never allowed before ❄️🌹
Thank you for your lovely video. What a beautiful cat you have. Those apples looked sooo delicious! Blessings to you from a wet and windy West Devon, England, and Jilly & Madge. xxx
I have always been a low energy person having persuaded myself...and others... that I was 'lazy' until I saw your video!...Now that I come to think of it I find out that I have accomplished so many things in my life almost always the hard way and through hard work!❤👑🌹
The word “lazy” always comes up when you naturally have lower energy & it’s so easy to blame yourself as the result and push even more. When chances are, you’re doing enough or even more than everyone else, but you start believing that you’re not purely due to this stigma. Low energy doesn’t mean lack of hard work. It just means you have to work out the ways that suit you best!
Witam, trafiłam przypadkiem na Twój kanał i przepadłam, ogladałam kilka godzin. Uwielbiam takie klimaty, więc zasubskrybowałam i zostaję, czekam na kolejne firmy, tworzysz wspaniałą atmosferę, ogląda się z wielką przyjemnością, pozdrawiam serdecznie.
What you said about not rushing the season or wanting winter to be done and spring to be here really hit me. I want to rush past or thru the seasons of my life that aren't going well but I really just should embrace them and not wish away the lessons to be learned in them. Thank you.
😍👍 What an amazing video, Daria! 😊 I subscribe each and every word you said. You put your thoughts as beautifully as your images. I never get tired of saying how stunning your cinematography is! ❄️☕😌 Loving Winter and your videos! Thank you!🙏👏👏👏🤗🥰😘
That was absolutely stunning..just what I needed, a true gift! The words at the beginning were meant for me and I'm middle aged 😅 but I think life is a journey and we are always learning...Thankyou one again ❤️❤️☘️
Hi Daria, I love your videos they are so soothing and relaxing its not easy sometimes having a slow down without feeling guilty or feel that your being lazy but it really makes a difference sometimes life is stressful and on the go so grab a moment to yourself its good for you / all of us Thank you xx 😊
14:10, haha ha - love seeing your cat playing! 😁 I used to have a cat for 13 yrs, and I bought her expensive toys that she was not interested in. Then if I happened to drop a cork on the floor = YAY, so much fun to play with...! 🙄 ☺️
Your video is lovely. ❤ When I was 16, I always wished I grew up in a small town (slow-living), and now that I’m in my 50’s, I’m finally going to move to one. 🏡
Lovely relaxing video ⭐️🌟⭐️ The filled apples looked absolutely delicious 👍 What a joy to find tiny signs of spring in nature. Your cat is so sweet! 🩶 My cat had the same colour. Hope you're having a lovely weekend! 🍀 /Ditte 🤓 🇸🇪
I was naturally a high energy person but after my accident a very low energy person but its okay to. Thats now my nature ❤ thanks for sharing dear Daria ❤
When we are teenagers we dont understand why adults are so low energy, but many went through a lot and energy gets used up. I try to stay active and do exercises during this cold depressing month to get some energy back and to not feeling like I have CFS every day.
Such a beautiful video. I can really relate to the masking aspect and would love to hear more about that. ✨ I'm in my mid-twenties and my teenage self would be very disappointed because I didn't become the tattooed biker girl I always dreamed of. With time I manage to shed one shell after another and find myself more and more. Best wishes from the Black Forest.❤
Good morning Daria! That little mushroom made me smile 😊 It has been quite cold here, dipping below 0 for the last couple of weeks. We should be getting warmer, but nowhere near seeing signs of spring. I tend to be low energy by nature. I can have huge energy when I want though. In the past I constantly pushed myself to be big all the time. It was 💯 or 0. Not a good balance for a long period of time. I understand the idea of appearing “lazy”. It can make you feel guilty like you’re doing something wrong. That’s not necessarily the case though. I’ll play with my dog while I make a special breakfast. Have a lovely day 💕💕💕
Oh 100 or 0 is definitely a thing, but so damaging in the long run. I felt the guilt too, as the result pushing myself to be 100 at all times, which simply led to prolonged burnout. I think it’s time we came to terms with everyone being different, and understanding that there are many ways to live and even strive. 😊
Oh Daria, I loved everything you said! I live in a city, but I’d really love to move to the countryside if I had the chance, but not in my own country. I want to try a new country. I live in Asia, and where I am, it doesn’t rain much and it’s sunny most days. I’d really love to experience living somewhere where it rains a lot. I don’t know, maybe this thing I want will get boring after I experience it, but I feel like I want to try it 😸
You are a low energy talented woman. I truly admire your sense of beauty, order, calm. I am too a low energy person. Wish I could live according to my true nature but having children makes it almost impossible to do it all at my pace. I sometimes wonder if you (or your family) are making sacrifices to allow you to do so
Loved the apples recipe. Is that pan specifically designed for apple baking? Who is it made by? I want one ♥️Thank you for another inspiring video. You have truly found a niche that needs filling in our hurried world.
You are making me feel guilty, I should be deadheading plants and trimming back the fruit trees and ivy from the rough area behind my garden. Great video though
I think you are in the incarnation cycle of the Old Soul. The extrovert, hustle, fast pace society that you mentioned is dominated by teenager souls/young souls. Everything makes more sense when you read about the soul levels of incarnations (by the michael teachings). I am somewhere in the middle of Mature Soul and Old Soul and resonate with people that have similar values. 📖⬇ 🌌The Old Soul - tranquility, pursuing truth and wisdom: They are a storehouse of wisdom and understanding because of this range of experience. Often they become teachers to pass this knowledge and wisdom on, but to a limited number of students. Old souls often have difficulty with self-esteem because their perceptions and values are not shared by the rest of society. *In their social lives, Old souls are often loners. They go their own way, caring little for societal norms. The Old soul may think he does not belong on this planet.* Old souls make up from 10 to 15 % of the population (U.S.?). They have very little attachment to coworkers, neighbors, blood relatives. When Old souls do seek companionship, they do so in metaphysical groups - tarot classes, psychic endeavors, philosophy, metaphysics, mysticism. Old soul are prone to psychological depression. To them, *life seems heavy and boring - “life is a drag”. They perceive that its all a game and they no longer want to play the game.* - www.michaelteachings.com/old_soul.html 🌎The Mature Soul - community & relationship oriented: *Mature souls are the avant-garde of society. It's they who make the genuinely novel contributions to the advancement of culture. They are the inspired visionaries. Whatever field of endeavor you might name - whether scientific, religious, political, technological, artistic, philosophical, humanitarian, or economic.* Mature souls are in a searching mode all their lives. There is an itch to “find themselves” and “express themselves”. Mature soul cares about the problems of the planet and wants to correct them, cares about other people and wants to help them. they have a great need for a quite refuge to which they can retreat in times of stress. They like to have a cabin in the woods or at the lake where they can take a vacation from the rat race. The problem is that Mature souls are complex - the most complex of the entire cycle. Mature souls are agitated, sensitive, and touchy. They are the most likely of the ages to need and seek psychological counseling for their emotional difficulties. - www.michaelteachings.com/mature_soul.html / personalityspirituality.net/articles/the-michael-teachings/reincarnation-the-35-steps/stage-4-the-mature-soul/ 📢Young souls are the builders of empires, the leaders of business and economics. Their basic motivation is materialism, and they will work unstintingly for their material achievements. Between 40 and 45 % of the US population are Young souls. They participate most willingly in the so-called “rat race” (Hustle culture) to make a buck. Popular interests are mundane things such as government, business, lawyering, sports, and policing. Young souls tend to measure a person’s success by the size of their bank account. They rarely get introspective enough about themselves to question their motivations. Since they value material success so much, they usually ignore emotional, psychological, and spiritual considerations within themselves and others. - www.michaelteachings.com/young_soul.html / personalityspirituality.net/articles/the-michael-teachings/reincarnation-the-35-steps/the-young-soul/
Hello friends,
I wanted to make a video about being a low-energy person for a while, but I feel like I can’t always carry my thought across too well.
This realisation has made me consider how unfair with ourselves we can be, even unknowingly! 😊 Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and giving us an outlet to do the same!🤗🤗🤗🥰
High energy but burn out so need balance!!!
Low energy person over here. And coping with burnout at the moment sooo definitely learning to slow down more :)
Such beautiful scenic cinematography.
Such a pleasant way to enjoy my morning coffee ☕
Your videos are so well-made and so soothing. It is with great pleasure that I watch them. Thank you for this beautiful work of art❤
Aah thank you! 🥰
And as a very intoverted person myself it’s just nice to know I‘m not the only one out there ☺️

I just want to say thank you for making your videos, and your whole channel. I live in Los Angeles, but grew up in a rural mountain town. Also the aesthetic is just beautifully crafted, I can’t imagine how much hard work goes into creating and editing these! You’re so talented.

Making the apples tonight
Oh Daria, I loved everything you said! I live in a city, but I’d really love to move to the countryside if I had the chance, but not in my own country. I want to try a new country. I live in Asia, and where I am, it doesn’t rain much and it’s sunny most days. I’d really love to experience living somewhere where it rains a lot. I don’t know, maybe this thing I want will get boring after I experience it, but I feel like I want to try it 😸
Would love to know where you get your skirts from!! They always look so pretty on you and I love the style 😊
You are a low energy talented woman. I truly admire your sense of beauty, order, calm. I am too a low energy person. Wish I could live according to my true nature but having children makes it almost impossible to do it all at my pace. I sometimes wonder if you (or your family) are making sacrifices to allow you to do so
Was it Stoner by John Williams ? I loved it ❤
Loved the apples recipe. Is that pan specifically designed for apple baking? Who is it made by? I want one ♥️Thank you for another inspiring video. You have truly found a niche that needs filling in our hurried world.
You have a beautiful cat❤
And a beautiful home too can’t wait until your next video

You are making me feel guilty, I should be deadheading plants and trimming back the fruit trees and ivy from the rough area behind my garden. Great video though

I dont understand what people without children call low energy 😅😅😅🤔
It has nothing to do with kids or not. People with kids aren t superior then does who doesn t

🌌The Old Soul - tranquility, pursuing truth and wisdom: They are a storehouse of wisdom and understanding because of this range of experience. They perceive that its all a game and they no longer want to play the game.* - www.michaelteachings.com/old_soul.html
🌎The Mature Soul - community & relationship oriented: *Mature souls are the avant-garde of society. - www.michaelteachings.com/mature_soul.html / personalityspirituality.net/articles/the-michael-teachings/reincarnation-the-35-steps/stage-4-the-mature-soul/
📢Young souls are the builders of empires, the leaders of business and economics.
