Yes!!!
I got a new antenna installed and it works!
It was less than $40, took only a day to ship, the same dimensions as my old one ... but the internal gears and overall quality feel is not the same as the old one when it was working as far as I can tell. maybe after a few more ups and downs it will break in and smooth out?!?

Overall it is a win and I have great reception again + plus I have the option to retract the antenna by turning the stero power off. This could come in handy if I drive through bushes. My deck does not have the addition solid blue wire for a power antenna so I may add an in line on / off switch on the accessory blue line to the antenna. This way I can still have music on if I am hitting bushes or on a road trip playing music off of my phone. 😁

Thanks for this! My 1995 SE was damaged while parked, need a new power antenna assembly after tracking down the right fender. That was NOT easy.
