Today's episode of Money Talks features none other than Nikhil Kamath, who is the co-founder of Zerodha, my favourite trading platform.
We talk about his growing up years and his equation with money, how his manager trusted him to manage his funds, how his parents didn't know about him dropping out, how he manages to maintain this Zen like attitude while working in a volatile market, and lots of questions that was insightful to deep dive with him, and I am sure you would enjoy them as much as I did!

This is the best episode you created Ankur. And it was possible only because of what you have done over the years and built these relationships. Getting Nikhil to talk so candidly means he trusts you. And that is gold.

One of the best interviews, hands down. And Nikhil’s answers didn't do any less than blow the mind-multiple times.
Especially that quote: “having the ability to buy something and not buying it is more powerful and cherish able than actually going ahead and buying it."

Kudos to Ankur for this fantastic talk!
After seeing so many of Nikhil's interviews, I thought it's not going to be anything new. But, thanks to Ankur, he masterfully handled this "tough" interview. Why tough, you may ask? Well, I thought Nikhil wasn't acting like a great interviewee and it was all left to Ankur's positivity and zeal to learn more about him. And, in return he got us all of these nuggets of gold in the form of stories.
    So, thank you, Ankur! :)

Mr. Zerodha I, on behalf of many many others, have a serious request to merge the equity and commodity funds. Some other broker have the advantage but don't like to shift from Zerodha. Margins are very high nowadays and the separate funds for both categories are a bit tough for many starters. Though we are working hard to make trading right, the increasing requirement of funds keep us away from doing active trading. Hope you understand. Though thank you for the great job.
