Wayne was never a mumble rapper untill recently. He mumbles now because he wants to appeal to a new audience. But he still spits bars.
Wayne is the inspiration for a lot of mumble rappers but he is not a mumble rapper. Best wayne is clever but his pen game is far from em's as em is bar heavy multy syllabic rhyme wordplay story telling capacities are just unmatched. If someone knows another rapper who mixes all those aspects please let me know

He did pass Elvis for most top 100 on billboard of all time. He' not only has bars and longevity, the numbers speak for itself too. Weezy F Baby and the F is for Forever.
