As a auto electrician who works for a diesel specialist.( bosch and and delphi agency) it paints me to see these vehicles over fueling like this. My tdi is straight piped and it doesn't smoke like this. Just a waste and is filthy

@@mkjbawi9308 can start by removing your rear silencers. Depending on where your o2 sensor is in the pipe you could knock the catalytic converter out as well. Not sure if yours runs a diesel particulate filter in the pipe. Some guys can remove its programming in the ecu if you have that and want to remove it. Also depends on how strick your country is with the emission laws. My authorities in my country are useless as hell that's why I straight piped my car as the exhaust was blocked from the previous owner babying the engine and not burning the carbon out. Turbo was taking to long to spool due to gases moving to slow
is it possible to get learning material for a volkswagen 1.6 tdi ? I know for sure mine has some sort of electrical issue but I cannot figure out what it is. And the technicians here won't try to dig deep to find the source of the problem. I have no one to go to. But finding material even to know which fuse number is a big issue with volkswagens. :(
lol the golf at 1.32 literally shat itself. these tunes cant possibly be healthy, especially not without defeating absolutely all emission systems and changing oil a lot lol. the amount of soot is insane for such small displacement engines

Rolling coal is seriously, *seriously* bad for your engine. A properly tuned diesel will have a little puff of smoke right at the top end at WOT

The 2004 and newer Jetta tdis with the BEW,BRM, and the CR engines (assuming your in America) have an electric turbo actuator that simply won’t sound like that. The BHW (Passat) ALH (Jetta, Golf, Beetle) and some older tdis (AHU) have a vacuum actuator which causes the glorious howl.

it is wasted fuel, but when you're at a meet and one of those does a pull, I just find it absolutely hilarious and entertaining

You don't know about tuning Tdi's then dude, the reasoning behind it is that the over fueling spools the turbos up quicker.
