Fun fact the ai always has 2000 gold for diplomacy. Everytime you trade settlements you can get another 2000 gold. You just have to put the amount manually.
you are wrong, i have drained all the AI's money before and they would not give any more money for a settlement, but i was playing on very hard, maybe on normal that's the case?
I have also got to the point where they just won't take any more settlements. Seems to me that it only happens with minor ones though? I think if they have a foothold in that region or its a capital they will take it for money. So you can take the capital then sell them the minor ones. I think.
Bro, One Pitch Man, I saw this video and could not believe the cheese. You are a f**king legend my dude. I love belegar campaigns and I will have to try this. However, I think it will only be a matter of time before they patch this. Keep sending me similar videos in my TH-cam feed and stay gold pony boy, stay gold.
I have tried it. You can get a so much money with that "cheese" I think its more than cheese. I feeled dirty making that lol. My biggest problem is you basically declare war on all the factions with this tactic. Wood elves declared war on me pretty quickly. I had to go on them. Empire started declare war on me right after they discoverd Icit Claw. It was really hard at the end. After all the wars going, i still had to go and take the Karak Eight Peaks...
Yeh, the difficult part is keeping too many factions from discovering the relationship too early. It is possible to avoid a snowball of enemies if you meet the factions you want to be friends with first. You can do a similar back and forth trade to get their relations high which will also increase their relations with ikit for all the gifts they give you through trading. Wood elves do have to die though. Orion finds out right away.
well to be fair I played the campaign in a completely lore-friendly way, tried to preserve Tilea and the Border Princes, took Aranessa and my starting province as well as Karak Hirn by turn 12 or sth...Then Ikit and Skrag both declared war in the same turn. It seems the AI likes to add to your misfortune instead of attacking when you're doing well (nobody ever declares war on me on turn 70 when I'm strength rank 1), because Wurrzag, Skarbrand (from God knows where), even Balthazar, the greatest traitor of all , declared war on me shortly thereafter. At the time I was capturing Skavenblight with Belegar's unkillable army, but even that ghastly full stack can't be everywhere at once. Once I left, sending him to Karak Eight Peaks, Morghur attacked Skavenblight, taking it even though I had a garrison (can't kill him with regular dwarf units). That's the state of that campaign...
I love playing vlad as a legitimate elector count. And archaeon's diplomatic power is so great that I literally end up doing paperwork all campaign as the president of the republic of chaos. It feels insane too but it makes a bit of sense
You can get a lot of money with factions that 'share' the same building slot. For example as Mannfred and the Orcs to his south in the jungle, Vampires and Greenskins both have buildings (tier 1 recruitment buildings) that aren't destroyed when you buy/sell a settlement. It's an up to 2k a trade infinite money cheese with any faction that you can trade a settlement too, have a another settlement with the higher value and back and forth as long as the AI considers the settlment to have 'value' in terms of a building.
This is such an important piece of knowledge. Is there any way to know which factions share a building slot besides just trying all the combinations in game?
@@ximbabwe0228 To be honest I haven't looked into it too much beyond greenskins and vampires, in the scenario I mentioned. No others particular jump to mind that I know of.
@@ximbabwe0228 By chance it works with Kiselv and Empire. As Volkmar I built two of Training Fields (tier 1 recruitment) in a minor settlement and city (Zavastra and Bechafen). Sold one to Kiselv for 10k then traded Bechafen for Zavastra for 2k to Kislev and you can repeat this infinitely. It's a unlimited gold/relations exploit, but it will ruin any chance of making alliances with Kiselv enemies.
do this, or get the mod where u can change ur starting position. select karak eights peaks and enjoy the onslaught thats brought against you and try to hold out!
Another way to go is to keep Tilea alive and kill Ikit and Aranessa. The alliance there will give you a possibility at a life wizard later on. What i did was take over all tilea regions and kept skavenblight and sold bhufdar to wood elves and then traded for miragliano which let me sell them the rest of the area to them. That way i didnt have to deal with wood elves and could get some healing from hired zoats from the alliance, and then i could focus on going to k8p killing wurrzag along the way.
Music is: Khazukan Khazakit-Ha! (total war soundtrack) and Thorgrim Grudgebearer (total war soundtrack) for the outro. The strat still works fine :) If played on lower then legendary difficulty the ai will behave differently on campaign map though.
i did exactly this but with miragliano. I mean, my home province is shit, and since welves are crazy mofos in wh3, having border princes and miragliano as allies makes elves hesitate like, really hard. It was easier for me help my ally, conquer sartosa to myself (coz the trade landmark), conquer skavenblight and make it a walled fortress to the beastmen and liberate all the south allies, plus the money they give to you is wonderful to start to develop your province. One you have secured all northern karaks of your region (even the one that got fucked by welves), you can run to eight peaks.
You are going far mate, Voice tonation is great and exploit is amusing. How about live steams ? and dont bother with these nay sayers, by interacting you just giving them more attention which they crave.
A. Not having to deal with one of your strongest enemies at all is great when you have as many enemies as Belegar B. Access to Skaven units C. Buffer to the west D. Infinite money
All vids I do are on Legendary/Very Hard battle difficulty. The skaven have very good units that complement dwarf armies really well. It's isn't a broken start like the previous videos that gives you massive power (except the whole infinite money thing). It protects your west without having to worry about a dwarf hard counter enemy like the skaven getting you. Honestly in most of my campaigns the wood elves declare war on me anyway unless I super try hard to make them like me. I'd rather have skaven allies for the effort personally. You could also just think of it as more an alternate playthrough that gets you fighting enemies you normally wouldn't if you want as well.
@@onepitchman6910 Skaven allies would be my optimal ally in any campaign, they are my 2nd favourite faction, they have powerful units that could fit in any army, my favourite being Ratling Gunners because BRRRRRR haha.
This is a bad idea because the Skaven have a -100 relations with you, even if you are in a military alliance they will turn against you if you do not keep gifting settlements or money to them. Better to make the wood elf's your friend because they are a pain to fight and a good trade partner. Better to crush skaven blight right at the start before he can get 3 stacks.

The cheesiest diplo tactic so far
As i said in Ghorst's video, amazing strategies. Keep up the good work! 😊
Nice video buddy. Also, the Dwarfs battle prologue music is so good, top 3 in my opinion.
This ones goin in the Book for sure, raki lover!
Dwarf & Skaven army. Seems about unbeatable. Very cool Video tho-. Keep it up.

That's an acceptable drawback. It weirdly makes it less cheesy and more like a lore accurate fuck you for dealing with the rat devil
Great video really solid outro
I've seen enough, I'm subscribing!
To be honest: I love playing such insane campaigns. Recently I have played as Kislev and I allied with Chaos Dwarfs. Why? Why not.

Befriending those filthy rats?!? That's going in the Book !!!
Bruh ive been thinking when i can and if you can do this with belegar
wouldn't it be possible to do it with ikit claw?!
Idk if you’ve made a video about it (just found this video in recommended) but you can take skavenblight on turn 3 pretty dope
By Grugni, what an peculiar strategy! Never seen one like this before

I friggin knew that the game calculated "economic value" of a settlement using some asinine, arbitrary coefficient.
