Libsyn does not have podcast editing capabilities. Libsyn only hosts your media files!

Thanks for this! What do you think about TalkGo mics? If I use the Libsyn podcast will I be able to edit? Should I start with a bunch of directories or just a couple well known ones?

Hey Melody! I personally haven't tried the TalkGo Mics. But looking at their specs, the only thing I would worry about are the fact that it looks like they are condenser microphones; Meaning they are going to be super sensitive to background noise or just any ambient sounds in the room. A dynamic mic, like a shure mv7 or a Samson Q2U might be a better option as they are less sensitive to background noise.
As of right now, with Libsyn Studio, you can record your show segments into chapters and rearrange those chapters within the interface. So for instance, let's say you have an opener where you give your audience a welcome and your first call-to-action. That opener could be recorded in the opener chapter. Then in the next chapter, you could record your next show talking point. When you finalize the episode, Libsyn studio will take these chapters and stitch them together with auto leveling and mastering. This knowledge base article goes over the in's and out's of studio- five.libsynsupport.com/hc/en-us/articles/10152382789275-How-To-Start-a-Podcast-with-Studio
We always suggest getting your podcast everywhere. So while you should absolutely make sure to submit your show to apple podcasts/Spotify, keep in mind that your audience may be using other apps/directories outside of the major ones. In the Libsyn Dashboard, it's really easy to set it up so that you can automatically publish to tons of additional directories/apps.
