The story of the Stockerau-Linz match between Serdaroglu and Slatinsek is worthy of a video all its own. This was the decisive match of the Austrian Bundesliga. In this game, on match point (10-9) both referee and assistant referee awarded the point to Slatinsek for an ace serve. The Head Referee however chose this moment to step in and decided for a foul serve (Slatinsek had previously being faulted 7 times and this was a constant source of discussion the whole match) and in the resulting chaos the referee yellow+red carded Slatinsek, followed by a red card from the head referee. This result meant that Stockerau were champions. Immediately after the game, Linz submitted a protest and this was upheld. Linz were now champions. Stockerau now took the case in a further protest to the ÖTTV. This court ruled that the upholding the original protest was incorrect and awarded the championship to Stockerau. If players were not angry under these circumstances there would be something wrong with them. The real issue here is that so many of the serves in the match were fouls that the referees made a rod for their own backs by only calling 7 of them. Authorities need to understand that when club players see referees letting obviously foul serves go at professional level, they think that they should be able to do the same or worse at club level. We need to get back to the point it was when the rule was originally brought in, that if a player does not clearly pull their body/arm/head out of the way, the serve is a fault. This would clean the game up considerably at all levels and help ensure that the winners are the best players, not the best at cheating.
I was ther. I know all the details and the discussion after the final(I was in the press conference too). It is not allowed to write anything about that, but I don't forget this TT emotional moment.
@@yeagerist977 No that is a joke. 45.000$ was the price for first place in the tournament, that JZK lost for this emotion. The first barrier was no problem but the second 🤷
Well I am not sure if Zhang was angry however that was totally unacceptable the way he kicked the barriers doing damage to them by breaking them he should’ve got a red card
I hate that reaction after winning. As a professional player, this kind of attitude is showing too much self-centering. We should discipline ourselves especially in a public event.
Friend, the heading is misleading, you should change the word "Angry" to Exhilarate because a great portion of the clips that you showed was guys exhibits ecstatically happy winning like the 2 guys rip off their shits: 0:58 and 1:15. As for Chen Weixing, you should have never included the crazy bastard in the video. The dude's insane, period! Why do you think the Chinese team doesn't want him from the get-go?

Wow. Interested story. Thank you very much for your clarification
Great to know that and happy that the cheating player lost as per the final verdict.
This is the most interesting comment I've read in a while, thank you!
1 DHS barrier is 30 USD, but 2 DHS barrier is 45 000 USD

The title should be Chen Weixing angry moments.
Zhang jike was happy tho
That's fine. But there was no need for him to destroy the boundary boards though.
The title says "intense" so it fits.

I love Ľubomír Pištej's rocket throw, but this: 5:38 :DDD
I don't think that was him who threw the racket. Still don't know tho, so I apologize if I'm wrong.
It was not Pistej. It was his opponent Sereda who threw the racket.
Where is Michael Maze? Xd Great video.
Sportsmanship can be an indicator of the athlete's character.
Zhang Jike was not angry like these other players. He was over the top for sure but these other players showed their ass because they lost lol

Easy. Half of the footages were pointed at Chen Weixing lol!
What was the reason for service fault in 1:51 ?
Creo q por que el lanzamiento hacia arriba no fue tan alto
there was no service fault, right after he serves the umpire raised his right hand to give him the point, i think it was the reaction the problem
He should have won the match. Don’t know why the umpire changed the score
Zhang jike is a legend 😂
OMG Skachkov went berserk 😂. There would have been a fist fight if Shibaev was on the opposite side of the table😛.
Only a Referee could disqualify a player by holding a red card not an umpire at a table.
