    Thankyou! It's so difficult to find Beautiful Elegant Crochet jumpers that look "unique" and well done & flattering.....most all look the same or are 'old fashioned' looking or way to puffy......

    Do you have any suggestions for what yarn to use if I want to make it a little less see through, but so the stitches will still be visible? Thank you for the pattern👍😊

    • @jeggocrochet

      It's more the hook size really because we use a large hook it leaves bigger holes. You could drop a hook size or two but then just bear in mind the gauge would be incorrect so then you'd probably have to size up one or two sizes.
      Or like you said you could go for a different yarn but I think it may still end up slightly sheer because of the hook size. So in all honesty I'm not 100% sure. My instinct says maybe try something like hobbycrafts leader of the pac? But it may be a bit of trial and error. Sorry it wasn't a straight forward answer but I hope it helps somewhat!! And thank you 😘

    Hi! Is it ok, if I attach the sleeves by counting the rows of sc on the panels and on the sleeves too, and I am just attaching them to eachother? For example if I have on the sleeves 44 rows, then I am going to attach 22 rows from the sleeves to 22 rows on the body of the jumper? And do the same on the other side. I hope it makes sense. Thank you for the tutorial!❤

    Could I do this with cotton yarn? I’m trying to recreate a beach cover up top and this pattern is the closest I could find!!

    • @jeggocrochet
      @jeggocrochet  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Sorry for the late reply, I'm on holiday without WiFi for the most part! You could definitely, but you may have to alter it slightly because the yarn will act differently if that makes sense. But definitely worth experimenting!

    Hello, i am doing this pretty sweater right now. But I don’t understand why there is more chains for the sleeves of XS (48) and less chains for the sleeves of 2XL (45). Isn’t it supposed to be the other way ?

    • @jeggocrochet
      @jeggocrochet  7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @milado7057 Hey! When you chain for the sleeve, it determines the length of the sleeve (not the circumference). Larger sizes have shorter sleeve lengths because the body is wider. That's the short explanation anyway :) enjoy!

    Would this also work with a smaller weight normal yarn like say a weight 2 acrylic

    • @jeggocrochet
      @jeggocrochet  8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @stassiecoon4334 yes, it just won't have the same effect as the mohair style / sheerness 😁

  • @JB-el6le
    @JB-el6le ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I found a vegan style mohair but it is classed as lace weight yarn. Would this still work or would I need to change anything like how much I would need and crochet hook size etc? Thanks 😊

    • @jeggocrochet
      @jeggocrochet  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, yes you may need to change the amount needed and hook size etc. Altho unfortunately it would be impossible for me to tell me how much you'd need. The best thing to do is a gauge swatch and then go from there. If your swatch turns out too small you should try a bigger hook. But it's also noting that you may then get a more sheer finished look because the yarn is thinner. I hope that makes sense and helps you somewhat! ❤️

    Hi ! I love this sweater 😍 but I would like to do the sweater more tight, so I just crochet less rows or I follow the patern for XS/XXS ?

    • @jeggocrochet
      @jeggocrochet  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you! If you want it tighter I would follow instructions for the smaller size, the pdf pattern does include a schematic and more in depth sizing info if that helps at all 🥰

    • @jeggocrochet
      @jeggocrochet  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It depends on the weight of the yarn, if using DK or worsted etc. It would also actually be heavier and so have more drape to it. But it would be a cool experiment and I think it could turn out cute!
