I have owned both B26 & B27 (basically the same gun but the B26 was more trap orientated and the B27 more game/sporting). They are superb guns that handle beautifully. And David is right they are an incredible bargain for a Belgium made Browning.
A friend of mine bought a new B27 in the early 80's, it was a well made gun and he shot it well. Like you say it was not expensive, not sure many were sold in this country.
What a lovely Browning!
Thank you for your comment.
That is a beautiful gun and seems a delight to shoot , I like the detachable fore end on the B 27 as it makes cleaning easier after shooting in the rain etc 🤙😎
All these old brownings are a fantastic buy at the moment. I agree, in the same way as Birmingham boxlocks, they should be valued much higher.
Thank you for your comment.
It is interesting how the advent of the “ Sporter” changed shotgun design and how trends change.
Thank you for your comment.
I'm impressed it's got the original Buck pad!
Thank you for your comment.
Love the gun,, did people really have smaller hands in the eighties,😬
Thank you for your comment.
Smaller hands in the 1980's 😂😂😂 , maybe if you are a Hobbit.
Thank you for your comment.
What price do you have on it? If I was in England I would buy it in an instant if the price was within my budget.
I am sorry but this gun is not for sale it belongs to a friend / client of David's. Thanks for your comment though.
