  • I got the missing carb for this Ford 2600 tractor and bought a kit for it. I went through and cleaned it and rebuilt it but could not get it to run on this carb so I replaced it.
Link to the replacement carb I bought:

I’ve not had one of those apart yet so not much help there. I do know that the throttle shaft seals make a world of difference to how well an updraft carb works. Might be worth trying someday when you have nothing better to do. Thanks for sharing.

I just found a video on one of these and they didn’t cover it much in depth but I was at least able to see that the other tube was not in the main body of the carburetor. I’m really not sure why this one is flooding it out all the time even with the fuel pinched off.

Your No way cleaning that good enough. Take a scotch Brit rolls up and clean that accelerator pump to clean that surface. Remove all jets replace or clean. Blow out all passages with carb clean and air. Simple carb to work on. Needs Togo into a sonic cleaner.

No, for some reason that carb was flooding the engine out when cranking. I feel like there is something internally wrong with it.
