Xianxia is a world of demons, magic and immortals. There are no decent fight scenes, just some clothes blowing in the wind and flying on swords. The story is centered around a romantic theme and usually involves sacrifice between lovers, and themes like war, brotherhood, and honor are side plots. It's so simple to distinguish between these genres. If you deal with c-ent, you should be able to do it. That's the bottom line.
Really good job giving us this upcoming drama list. Looks like most of them are sticking to the new dictates that dramas are 40 episodes or less. Too bad, I wonder what has to get cut out of the stories as I love when a good drama takes its time like Story of Yanxi Palace.

I have had all of these dramas on my list for quite a few months....getting antsy. As for "Lost You Forever", I have been crazy about Deng Wei since "Miss The Dragon" but would have loved to see him paired with his Support Co-actor from there, Pan Mei Ye. I adore Yang Zi, but I still loved the chemistry on Miss The Dragon, on and off set. Can't wait to see what these two will do though. Too bad we won't see it til next year. sigh.... BTW, his character on "Lost You Forever" looks EXACTLY like the Lord of the Pavilion on "Miss The Dragon". smh lol
Some of these upcoming looks like they took from previous series and transferred them to the upcoming dramas, pretty nostalgic if you ask me. I thought some of the scenarios were overlapping from the previous dramas.
I discovered Zhou Ye through "Word Of Honor". At first her character was so annoying, until I came across the wedding scene. Her acting was so good that I cried for days. Now, I'm willing to give "Back From The Brink" a try.
I can't decide if I find Bai Lu pretty or not😭. Sometimes she does look pretty enough for FL and sometimes she looks mah, And I am like she doesn't look heroine material.
Back From the Brink looks good. I can't wait to see Zhou Ye's performance. I loved her in WOH. Ju Jing Yi is also beautiful. I can't wait to see her new drama.
