Here's some commentary/rambles:
"Tortilla Avalanche is finally finished. This one took a while! I think I started animating this in late December but didnt get super cranking on it until February (I was struggling a bit but everythings hunky-dory now!) HOWEVER this cartoon was actually planned all the way back almost MID 2021! This animatic was actually made the same time Taco Spaghetti's animatic was! (Taco Spaghetti & Tortilla Avalanche are sister videos) This music video is pretty massive & a LOT of planning went into this one (which is probably the main reason it took a while to even START animating it lol) Not to mention, having to figure out that tortilla avalanche without my computer exploding?? Luckily once I figured it out, it went surprisingly smooth. There's lots packed into this video though, so be sure to rewatch & skip around to see if theres anything you missed! I'm very happy with out this video came out & so happy I was able to make Parry's awesome song even more awesome! (hopefully lol)"
FUN FACTS!
1. This video re-introduces an old character from a previous music video, Last Train to Awesome Town: The AwesomeBot 3000!
2. The AwesomeBot 3000 is one of the three "3000 Robots" (the third robot hasnt been revealed yet)
3. Despite their scary appearance & actions in the music video, The AwesomeBot 3000 is not a villain (they are typically still an antagonist in most adventures!) AwesomeBot is a very misunderstood machine, so dont be too hard on them!
4. All the townspeople shown in this music video have names! Feel free to @ me on Twitter or drop a comment if you're curious about a certain one! :)
5. Unexpectedly, the official video was uploaded on International Transgender Day of Visibility & while I cannot go into detail about it, I will confirm that The AwesomeBot 3000 is trans/non-binary.

I noticed the huge upgrade in animation since Taco Spaghetti. The movements are much quicker and the posing is more exaggerated which I like. It reminds me of The Fairly OddParents, which may not be the best example but still, your animation is so good now!
Taco Spaghetti is when I started putting more work into series production rather than trying to imitate the original Raining Tacos. Bringing the original style into a more polished version. I was already planning the concepts for more "taco music videos" with Timmy & TacoBot back when I made the TacoBot 3000 music video however Parts 5-9 of the Saga weren't planned until early last year. After that went into motion, I've been doing a lot more behind the scenes work which I'm glad to see is noticeable in the quality :) Glad you're enjoying the new videos!

Are the episodes laid out chronologically, or do we have to figure out the lore?
i have a lot of lore sprinkled around online (you can read the descriptions of all the animatic videos for that stuff) & nothing is super official yet so it could always change (just keep that in mind) but right now the music videos are pretty stand alone (no order you really need to watch them in, i still recommend watching in the order they were released) however my idea so far is that Hailing Taquitos is first, then Raining Tacos, then TacoBot 3000 (original trilogy type deal) Then Parts 4-7 are vaguely in order (since theyre all being made consecutively since Taco Spaghetti; however Quesadilla Explosion was made closer to TacoBot 3000 in the VERY early stages of the Saga a few years ago) Parts 8 & 9 I'm hoping to link but thats still being developed at the moment (so again, stuff could very well change)

I'm not THAT good.. but thank you :) It takes years of practice. Just keep drawing and animating as much as you can! (Also make sure to learn the 12 Principles of Animation! Super important!)

everyone from the original video is just a random person except Timmy & TacoBot. I could argue that the cyan/blue shirt guy is Babo (since i put him in those spots in the Xmas version) but currently all characters in the original are just nameless randos

Honestly, the hardest part of making this was probably having to position and animate all of those chips in the avalanche.
it took me a few weeks to even figure out how to approach that part of the video. once i experimented a bit, it actually ended up being a lot simpler than it looks!

If youre asking from a design stand-point, its to make him stand out from other characters (because he's the main character). Also of course the cartoon looks different, the original was made when I was 14 & it looked awful lol.
In-cartoon reasoning for the helmet is because Timmy rides a unicycle & goes on dangerous adventures with TacoBot 3000. He wears it to stay safe. It also transforms into Awesome-Mode on their adventures.
