did you get the offroad kit? if so, how was the performance uplift?
i added the off-road controller to mine a few months ago and it bumped it to 26 and is definitely worth it. i don't' see them for sale anymore though.@@rkdm84

Does this new controller add more acceleration off the line to the scorpion? You said you retuned the motor and added a couple more amps. Hopefully it adds a bit more acceleration. More speed off the line would be awesome. I feel it’s a little underpowered off the line probably due to the weight of the bike. Hopefully this will fix this. Thanks for your input.

Ordered and can't wait. So, will the photo mount be USB C? I think pretty much every mobile phone that came out in the last year has been C. Also what's up with the mirrors, I pre-ordered them some time ago.
Also, you need to have your website person fix the links and display for the upgrade. It is not listed in the accessors at all. I found it by doing a search.

Phone mount and the cable wraps will be nice. Looking forward to getting those. I have a holder for my phone but it is not ideal. Awaiting passenger kit for a second rider and foot pegs.

What is different electronically in the new controller? Current shunt, power mosfet? For those of us that know electronics it would be nice if you explain the differences in each controller.

200 dollars to have the computer tuned the way it should have come from the factory? My hyperscorpion is a week old, why wasn't this mapped this way from the beginning? I love the bike and the company, but this is a questionable move.
This is not for the hyper scorpion, they aleady can go 32mph on throttle only in race mode. This kit is for the base scorpion model.
You have a “1000w motor” you can aftermarket and tool it to 40 (45mph for short burst). Think out side box and see what’s sitting there in front of you. Options!

I’ve been able to get a little over 27 mph on my regular scorpion without the off-road kit...
that's pedaling or downhill though right ? i've hit ~27 mph pedaling with it but only about 21.5 on pure throttle
Stella Cannefax No. Throttle-only actually and on flat ground. Unless the speedometer is wrong..? I haven’t tested it out on my phone or anything else just yet.
Doscinco 83 prove it with a video of you going 28 with torque only without peddling and down hill doesn’t count. Cuz you can’t do it without peddling and this add on add gives you ability without peddling.

Doscinco 83 you’re very lucky if you can torque up to 28 mph cuz no one else can due to the stock controller on our Scorpions. Have fun!
Does the Hyper Scorpion come with the Off-Road Kit basically?
Well sort of, they use a completely different controller and motor, and can go 32mph on race mode with throttle only. Plus you get a much larger battery capacity. Thats important because the hyper uses a lot of power when going fast in race mode. Don't even dream of a 70 mile range in race mode, realistically range is 15 - 30 miles in race mode depending how you drive and if hills are involved. Rider weight plays a roll too. I own a hyper so these are documented facts. Not just wishfull thinking.
Hyper goes 30+ mph by default on torque alone. This is why it’s a “hyper” version to the basic model
What's the range with full throttle?

What’s the point of getting this when you could just put it in race mode and go even faster?
Guess you didn't watch the video. Dude was in race mode for this speed test.

Jesus Leon Negative. For example, The state of Maryland (MD) defines electric bikes as a bicycle with fully operational pedals, a motor of not more than 500W and a maximum speed of 20mph on flat surfaces. Electric bike motors must be design to disengage at 20mph. So, purchasing this kit allows us to go just a lil bit faster on torque only.
@@EvanMooreZ it was advertised as being able to hit those speeds stock. It doesn't. Now it turns out we have to pay extra to hit the originally advertised speeds.
Jesus Leon nah, it was advertised as 20 on torque and you can peddle assist to 28. That’s the definition of class 3. I knew this when I bought 2 of them at $4k
