Thanks for the instructions as they helped. My off road kit arrived and i installed it finally this weekend. I can get to 26.3 in Race mode on full torque and with a bit of effort I can peddle assist to 28 mph. I’m making a video of side by side today with my off road model and our Scorpio without the mod.
Just received an email that my scorpion off road kit shipped. Thanks Juiced! I’ll make a video of both my scorpions side by side. One with the kit and the other without the kit. Since the upgrade kit will provide more speed at the line, it should make for interesting before/after.
I was skeptical about this, because i would have preferred that the scorpions simply arrive like this. Having installed it, i can say it was worth it - throttling up to 27-28 on flat ground (private property only 😉), with the better off the line acceleration, makes the bike feel more capable of keeping up in traffic.
Is the process the same on the hyperscorpion?. I shorted the black tip wire out that runs through the frame and the bikes dead. A new controller should solve the problem right?
Hey 👋 Sounds like your looking at the motor cable that leads from the controller - unfortunately that cannot be replaced separately, you would need to purchase a new controller.
@@EvanMooreZ It's being promoted by Juiced Bikes so it should be a FREE Upgrade since the original Scorpion was advertised to go 28MPH with standard controller. But it does NOT go 28MPH ONLY 20MPH then the controller cuts off unless you keep pedaling FAST...
@@fanofoldfans9238 both of my scorpions go to 28 MPH with its standard controller, but it requires me to pedal assist per the class 3 laws. this off road controller will allow us to go to 26 mph with torque instead of the advertised torque speed of 20 mph.
@@juicedbikes I doubt it will handle 60 volts. A 52v fully charged battery has an initial voltage of 58.6 volts. A 60v battery has an initial voltage of 67 volts and will likely fry the controller.

I am getting my CrossCurrent S2 tomorrow. I assume the RipCurrent S is the same? I'd like to upgrade also when it becomes available.
trying to install the x2 controller, but the motor connector is too fat to pass through the lower control arm, any tips?
Do you guys ever plan on making one of these for the Ripcurrent S?
@@juicedbikes I would definitely buy one if one was made
They should make one for all brands of e-bikes. Would make $ Millions,,
what is the name of the longer cable with the arrow? I need to replace it thanks for help.

This Upgrade should be provided by Juiced Biked at NO charge!
It’s an aftermarket upgrade though for off roading. They do this for their other models, too. For example their Camp/City Scrambler.

FanOfOldFans with peddle assist only
They should make a upgrade for all e-bikes
If you are trying this on an X2, the motor cable is on the other side (red cable)...took me a minute to figure out.
did your motor cable connector fit through the lower swing arm, mine is too fat
I'm getting my scorpion on Tuesday, will I have to install the off road throttle upgrade kit or is it installed before shipped?
@@juicedbikes Bike did not come with with upgrade
No, rather bummed about it since that was the reason I purchased the bike in the first place. I really like the though.
I left a email stating that I didn't receive the throttle upgrade with the shipment of the bike.
@@juicedbikes Thank you so much for your quick responds. This is my second E- bike owned and I love It! I cant wait to get the throttle upgrade!!
Does this throttle work on Scorpion X models?
Hey 👋Thank you for reaching out! This part is not compatible with the Scorpion X.
@@juicedbikes How can the Scorpion X go faster than 20mph using only the throttle?
24 MPH on throttle only, not sure if its worth it. It also drains your battery way too fast.
Can it handle a 60 volt battery?
Hey 👋 We have not tested any outside batteries with our e-bikes. They are designed to perform optimally with the 52V battery platform.

Like yes good
