Good Afternoon Paul, thank you for the comment - this was a really tasty Scotch Egg and well worth the price - I can recommend this one ! have a great Afternoon my friend :-)
Good Morning Papparoni , thank you for the comment - it was indeed a tad chilly in the Shire but overall it was beautiful - have a great Thursday mate :-)
Another great looking scotch egg there Graham and you could tell it was a quality egg by the bright orange colour of the yoke , not one of those yellow/mustard coloured battery farm eggs .Good to see the trusted knife in action again but have you managed to pick up some salt and pepper for emergency seasoning. Also how was the drink ?? 👍👍🐖🥚
Good Afternoon Robert , thank you for the comment - this really was a good Scotch Egg full of flavour and one I will buy again I am sure - Eggs vary so much and so many look Anemic through the foods and conditions they are kept in - Aye the knife was out again ! so far no salt and pepper as we have not been anywhere but I will be getting some when I do get out ! The Sorrel and Ginger Tropical Vibes drink was very good and full of gingery goodness - have a great Afternoon my friend :-)
Hi Graham 😊 Nippy in the shade but lovely in the sun i bet. The birds sounded in high spirits in the trees behind. That Scotch egg looked lovely & has now made me hungry 😂 Next time i go to my local farm shop & want to get some, they do maybe 15 flavours, i haven't had a Scotch egg in years. I was wondering the same as Robert...how was the drink? 🏴🥚😅
Hope you manage to get a quality scotch egg from your local farm shop Kate. You can't beat local produce one of the best scotch eggs I have ever had was on holiday in Cumbria and it was made up of cumberland sausage meat and black pudding from a farm shopin a place called Waberthwaite i think, but unfortunately all the soft yoke ones had sold out, but it was amazing 👍👍🥚🐖
@@robertlindop9365 Sounds nice Robert, but i don't like black pudding. I've never had a runny yolk one, but i will try one one day. Depending on what the flavours are i'm hoping to get a few different ones from the farm shop. Love the Lake District, my favourite place 😀👍
@@kate6038 Funny enough Kate I never used to like black pudding myself until I was made a full breakfast by a friends mum in 1987 and I didn't want to offend by not eating it and have loved it ever since especially when it is served crispy on the outside but I am not really a fan if it's lightly cooked. And as for a soft yoke scotch egg we are both in the same club I too have yet to have one but one day I will and hopefully it will be from a butchers or farm shop so it should be quality ingredients . And i prefer supporting local shops over supermarkets 🤞🤞🐖🥚
@@robertlindop9365 I tried black pudding when i was younger & spat it out, never had it since. I think i could just about be tempted to try it again if it was a crispy slice, but if there were any soft bits...no. At the farm shop they also do some burgers i want to try, something like brisket & chuck 🍔 😁
Good Afternoon Kate, thank you for the comment - it was a lovely morning here yesterday and as you say the birds where in high spirits - there seems to be so many different flavours of Scotch Egg these days and thankfully most of them work well ! this one with Caramelised onion was really good and packed with flavour and all the contents were of Good Quality - The Sorrel and Ginger Drink was really good and again full of flavour but if anyone is not a fan of Ginger this would be no good for them as the Ginger packs a punch - Wishing You a Lovely Evening :-)
Hi Graham - that looks fab and a good price too - sometimes it is best to pay a little bit more Cheers Paul
