Junior definitely has some operator skills. He is not just steering a tractor around a field, he watches everything and is leaving nice windrows with nothing left behind.
My old uncle that I farmed with most of my life used to say some people drive and some people aim. I would definitely say junior is a driver not anymore and also rather superb

That stand looks like pretty thick yet. I wouldn’t be taking it out of production but I’m sure you’ve got a good reason since alfalfa seed ain’t cheap. Great video as always

Andrew is turning I to a fine young man and one heck of an operator. He reminds me a lot of myself growing up. You can trust him to run your equipment better than a grown man. From experience, being a youngster like him, and being trusted that much, really means a lot to him Andy. Don't think he doesn't notice that you believe in him because he does. That goes for your girls too.

I’ve been running a roc merger for about 7 years now and looks like Andrew has already gotten a hang on it. If I could give one tip it would be when you’re in transport if you ride with the merger only half way on the lift cylinders it’ll actually give you a bit of suspension and it’ll ride nicer.
That ROC unit looks pretty solid and servicable best of all. Like everyone says, its truly impressive that Andrew jumps in, runs it one pass around and has the settings all figured out and makes perfect corners. The skills he has at 41(reversed) or so is a product of his upbringing and experience. Crop seemed like it was really stiff and stood up after the merger pass. Is that because its 1st cutting?
I remember when skid loaders first came out. In early 70s. The John Deer dealer brought one to our farm. I was about 12 at that time. The dealer asked my dad if I could run it would he bye it. After I drove it away the words were I’ll send you the bill. As he drove out the driveway.

Well the prices of equipment versus $$$$ on Fuel I’d Say it will save 100s of gallons of fuel! I’m guessing $125,000.00 Or More? But in the long run it’s better than a V Rake!
Impressive machines Andy but having a twin rotor Claas swather that thing must leave a knotty row like a finger wheel rake and be very high maintenance. Wouldn't last in our country with our contour.
I had a chance to operate an ROC merger in either 2007 or 2008. The one thing I had problems with was the narrow cross conveyor plugging in a heavy crop. I don't remember if that one had the ability to divert windrows in both directions. It looks like that one is doing a good job.
ANDY, i see andrew constantly looking to the rear, I wonder r if the rear view mirror from a school bus would have application on the farm, You would be surprised at how much you can see, just a thought.

Andrew’s growing up fast.Went from barely seeing over the steering wheel to showing you how to operate the equipment in a couple of years.
My chopper has 2 wheels and 200 horse power , today is my bday I've survived 65 , may God bless you and yours !!!
