I WHOLE HARDHEARTEDLY DISAGREE WITH THAT THE PLANES ARE SO OLD PARTS ARE FALLING OFF AND PARTS ARE HARD TO FIND. The planes are maintained VERY WELL. They actually weight less that a combat F18 because some of the equipment is not on the aircraft for show purposes, the biggest change is the removal of the pylon stations and the Gatling gun up front is replaced with a weight. All F18's are checked and partially disassembled multiple times a year or based on flight hours for Phase Inspections. This reporter has not done his homework! Yes they occasionally have TFOA's (Things Falling Off Aircraft) but it's not critical structural parts. It's usually just an access panel that was over stressed and a zsus fastner came loose and the panel was ripped off by high speed. Someone probably didn't notice the anchor was worn more that it should have been and let it fly. Also the parts are not hard to find, with the old F18s being replaced by the new Super Hornets the parts are actually becoming easier to find. The problem is lack of FUNDING for maintenance due to in fighting in Congress and the Senate over military spending. The Democrats are holding our military hostage unless they get the socialistic spending bills they want. They would rather we have a weak US military than give up SOME NEW Social Programs. The Democrats are SHAMELESS in this matter. They are doing to us what happend to the Roman Army, right before it was over run by other nations because they had negleted their military for Socialistic programs so people would vote for them, It's the Democratic Way! So sad and tragic. Likely just a small miscalculation of altitude and speed. Life is so fragile behind the controls of such a powerful machine. I live near Lockheed Martin and Northrup Grumman facilities and have seen the angels fly low and slow from my front yard. So much respect. RIP Captain.
Whats weird, the jet had pitched nose down, in one sequence you see that he managed to pull at some point but I'm not sure, i have a feeling that he lost control and then at the very end he got controls back enough to pull out away from people and than crashed. He cold have ejected but still, the nose was pitched down at high speed.

There are Sopwith Camels that are over a hundred years old now and they can still be flown. Always maintained their certificates for legal flying. Still as reliable as the day they were made. Any part can be made by an competent machine shop. They didn't have CNC in 1915. So simple.

I'm guessing your a college graduate who wasted a lot of money on book knowledge that has left you COMPLETELY lacking. What I'm about to tell you is NOT up for discussion it is FACT.!!!! What that means is ANYTHING you say to dispute it is well... To put it Bluntly a waste of Breath. The military protects us. With no military the USA ceases to exist. The military is not forced on anyone it is voluntary. So for the military to bring in new personnel they recruit. The BIGGEST recruiting tool the military has is the Blue Angels the Thunderbirds and the Golden Knights. So this is why True Freedom Loving Americans always want a Strong Military and support our tax dollars to the tune of excess if need be to be spent on a strong military. Because simply put if your Naive Thinking were to EVER to become the standard this country would Cease to exist. One last thing It truly baffles me that you can equate the pollution that a car or a plane puts out .... Now listen closely not to China or any other country... Did you hear me ... NO other country better yet all of them combined. The fact is the world the planet this earth produces and exerts more pollution of its own making than man ever can or will. Why is that you ask... How can that be.... Simply put this world this planet this earth cleans itself. Sure we are to be good stewards.... But if you think for one second that man can by his own hand destroy this planet via pollution .... Simply put your wrong. Do a little reading some time... Get your knowledge from a book rather than a news commentary or a Tree Hugger with an Agenda. Read sometime about the natural gases emitted from this planet into the atmosphere. Better yet read about the discharge emitted during an eruption. Do a little research about the changes of ozone layering due to gravitational pull and rotation. Hey I got it how about Better yet you read up on the ever changing and sliding granular particulates of the Van Allen radiation belts. The simple fact is a bunch of Tree Huggers sold a group of Naive or should I say Extremely Overboard Naive individuals A Bill Of Goods based on manipulation and these people Bought Into It Hook Line And Sinker.
