Ever wondered what happens when you bathe in living alien milk with a violet-skinned queen while reality crumbles around you? Trust me, it's not your typical first date.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful writing with us again! You definitely have a special talent for writing about stories that resonate through our thoughts, as was listen to the stories our minds blend they meant to real life…… Though in some ways I feel that your writing affects each of us in different ways? Yes I am still here.. for now? The oxygen degradation is a problem associated with the breathing I {we} can’t get away from. Mine is around 80% since this last heart attack. I use to be so smart! Now those days are lone gone. My brain has been so full of thoughts and feelings of days long gone! I have created this environment that I am dealing with right now. To all! Thank you for reading this and hopefully went your time comes it will be better than the better!
@nomerc3608 Your message deeply touched me. First, thank you for sharing something so personal. You're right - stories affect each of us differently because we bring our own experiences to them. Your perspective, especially given what you're going through, adds another layer of meaning to themes of memory and mortality that I explored. Please know that your thoughts and feelings, both past and present, matter greatly. Your ability to still connect with stories and share your insights shows that your mind remains bright and valuable, regardless of changes you're experiencing. I'm truly honored that my writing resonated with you during this challenging time. Sending you strength and hoping you continue to find meaning and connection through stories. Thank you for being part of this community.
@@Sci-Fantasy The true fact of not knowing when you close your eyes will be that last time affect you deeply! I woke from a very deep sleep a few hours ago. At first there was no pain in my lower back, left hip but it ever so slowly creeped back into my body. I take methadone for my extreme lower SI joint pain. Was started on it in 1998 I think? 97-98? I could not walk, could not sit up without help. Same for standing. Spent 1997 till 2000 like this I think? The first injections into my SI JOINTS…. I cried as that needle was inserted into each joint. Oh it hurt till it didn’t hurt anymore! Just a dull ache was there… GOD I felt better. I was still in pain but it was better! I forced my body to move. Three times a year I got the injections.. for two years then it was backed off to two times a year. Well that was till the pain clinic changed the head doctor. It is ok! God has got us! Because I am not the only one going through this pain this clinic is causing! Reminds me of something that happened when Obama was in office and the level of pain medicine was cut off from many Veterans! I felt for all of them! I have a very high tolerance to pain and I was under these cuts! It’s the methadone, bacfen combo. The second is the muscle relaxer. Now they cut the muscle relaxer in half when I had my stroke. Just three a day, instead of six 10MG. It’s been a challenge but here I am. I have never shared my story. Most of us Veterans don’t… Even with family members… Especially with our close family,
@VikingShipExplorer Ah, thank you! The multiple timelines were tricky to balance - wanted them complex enough to be interesting but not so convoluted they'd overshadow the character moments. Really glad they worked for you! And honestly, your Viking name makes me wonder about writing something with time-traveling Norse explorers next... 😉 Thanks for listening!
Man....the setup for this one was reeeeally good. I mean, it's genius to begin the story with a main character that's in the middle of forgetting who he even is, yet he's still haunted by a nightmare past. You out did yourself this time.😎
@ScottBionicBlasters Love this analysis! You caught exactly what I was going for with Dilan's character setup. That contradiction of forgetting yet being haunted was the spark that started this whole story for me. Really wanted to explore how memory shapes identity and what happens when those memories become unreliable. Your insight about the setup means a lot - always aim to hook readers from the start but wasn't sure if the amnesia + trauma combo would land. Thanks for getting what I was trying to do and taking the time to share such a thoughtful comment!
It's great that Queen Traia was able to help Dylan put the Ghosts of his pass to rest and regain the memories of his Late Crew 🥲 and were able to fix reality itself together.☺️
@PabloHernandez-gl5ij You really got to the heart of what I was trying to say! Sometimes we need someone else to help us face our past before we can move forward. And yes, saving reality was a nice bonus... 😉 But seriously, I'm happy Trea and Dilan's journey resonated with you. Thank you for sharing your thoughtful take on the story!
@thomaskarlsieber2510 Comments like yours make writing worth it! So happy the emotional moments landed - I wanted the sci-fi elements to enhance the human (and alien!) connection at the heart of the story rather than overshadow it. Really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts!
@soonerfan4aa There's something powerful about that simple truth, isn't there? Even in a story with temporal anomalies and alien rituals, it all came down to two beings learning to trust and love. Really appreciate you seeing through the sci-fi elements to the heart of the story. Thank you!
@LUCKYPUCK-007 Thank you! Really glad you enjoyed the pacing and especially happy you liked the ending. I was aiming for something satisfying but not too neat - relationships and healing are complicated, even in sci-fi! Thanks for listening.
@jamesogden7756 Haha, I promise no psychedelics were harmed in the making of this story! Though now that you mention it, maybe I should've included a "Do not attempt alien milk rituals at home" disclaimer... But seriously, glad it took you on a wild ride - that's exactly what sci-fi should do! 🌌

With or without an armoured codpiece?🤭...😉 😂

Beautiful story! It shows us that love overcomes it just overcomes.

Great story line, read well. Thank you, also love the endings .

I listen to these at work and home.. Great stories.. Ty for sharing them... 😇🤣😇
Living milk? Is that code for LSD? Because this story is a trip. 😂😂
Admiral Akbar would have already known it.
@paytonturner1421 aaaaaah, there are no women on the internet. Thanks for the reminder Anon. 😁

@@Sci-Fantasy Loved it. Thanks again.
Wow. Now this was a trip.A real mind bender. Sort of "lactic acid" diethyamine.
