Lively is so underrated. With such height and movement, and an understanding of basketball, he is not a typical center. He can pass, he can box out, he thinks ahead, and he anticipates a lot of moves. Lively is going to be one of the best centers in the league!

I just want to say this very random but related point. I heard a discussion earlier this year on the deep 3 podcast about past players that would not be good in todays game. The one I highly disagree with is, dennis rodman. It doesn't matter what era, i believe a skilled offensive rebounder and hustle player is incredibly valuable. Lively is just that, and not even to the degree that rodman was. As luka said, they don't win this series without derrick lively. The mavs are so proud and happy to have him, he was huge.
Mavs actually a young squad with a big window for winning. Dlive a fresh 20 will only grow. Luka, pj, Gaffy all 25. Omax will be out missing piece next year at 22/23. Kyrie ages like fine wine. Hardy is 21 green is 22. Mavs are young
I bet Hardy develops as the 6th man of our group. He's a late bloomer with some growing pains but his playmaking is a welcome development. More patient now Offseason under Kyrie should do him a lot of good
I'd rather pick the Nuggets. Outside of Gordon and probably KCP, they don't have enough defenders to stop LuKai all game long. The Wolves have Ant/McDaniels/Gobert/Naz Reid/NAW
Doesn’t matter both will be a mountain of challenge but we have a true team we got bigs to compete with wolfs bigs and we have great wing players for Denver, we would probably see a double team effort from lively n gafford against joker
