it all happens in fore ground ... there ist no technican during the show working ...
but you are right ... at all this is a work which also has to be done and has to be appreacheated !!!!

@@Chriziz Yes ofcourse, the endshow is timelined. But not every show. Sometimes you can clearly see that no timecode is used.
@@Chriziz Timecoded shows need to be pre-programmed too. And trust me: timecode takes A LOT of time

@@kimvandevelde7866 The show itself is great compared to 2009. Lighting and firework is stunning but the music is sometimes awesome sometimes not. Nevertheless Hz is always a plus...
That was dope! Like in a movie.
Epic show but the edit of the footage doesn't do it justice, too many jumpcuts and closeups which ruined certain show aspects, might even have preferred a static FOH or dinner in the sky shot!
FPV fireworks is pretty cool though!

First of all, unmatched production quality, these drone shots are humongous.
When I witnessed it live (first Defqon), I actually felt a bit underwhelmed, having all those other endshows in mind from TH-cam. Ofc lightning and fireworks were amazing, but there was nothing like Gravity in the 2015 endshow. It was probably because I just couldn't process everything in an instant, it was just soo much. Now rewatching it, I realize how good this truly was. Orange Heart has the perfect setup, and Army Of Fire is an amazing song in itself.
Thanks to everyone who was there, that weekend was perfect (except the weather which was way to hot, but I probably shouldnt cry about that).
wanted to add on to this; this year was my first Defqon and as amazing as the Endshow was live, there is just so much going on that it really is hard to appreciate it for what it is in the moment. Watching the Sunday endshow was even more incredible on replay than live for me. Also depending on where you are in the crowd, if you're up near the front you miss out on some of that. Specifically, the way everything was in perfect sync for Darkest Hour... was absolutely incredible to watch that on replay.
I don't know where you were in the crowd, but i can recommend not being too close to the stage. When you stand more in the back you will be able to see the whole stage and all of the fireworks going on, but in the front you can only see a small part of it all :)
@@MrSkate119 I figured out before that it's probably not a good idea to stand in the front. I think I stood in the last third of the crowd, had a pretty good view. Still so much happening, even if you dont have to move your head :D
Jan Ho I think you felt underwhelmed because all the fireworks were 3 seconds late, but they edited it like it was timed right

This event is held about 11km from my home. Every year I can enjoy the fantastic music and the bangs of the fireworks. Insane! Never been to Defqon 1, but it's on the first place of my bucketlist. I'll be a warrior full on!!

This was my first Defqon and I loved it. Nice to talk with people from all around the world.
Shamed is such an outstanding track. Him playing his eguitar on stage is forever unforgettable. I was standing perfectly in the middle towards the end. Best vision on all the stage and fireworks and then he started playing, goosebumps on my entire body. And when i watch his back .. its soo good
I celebrated my 19th birthday at Defqon.1, I had the best birthday ever, and the Endshow was the best end I ever could imagine. So thank you Q-dance 🧡
This is absolutely unreal. Everything is so perfectly timed and so epic. No other end show makes me speechless like Defqon.
Every year you beat yourself. 2017 was my favourite but now this one is beyond everything.

Who knew hardstyle could be this emotional. I got goosebumps watching this and i almost shed a tear.
That maintstage represent the totem pole. Hardstyle, Rawstyle, and Hardcore/Frenchcore in one tribe.
Amazing as Army of Fire sounds. I get goosebumps with every note, with every melody, with everything. I do nothing but put it at full blast of how incredibly good it sounds.

Did anyone else notice that Q-dance edited that part at Army of Fire with the firework setting off just before the climax? Live at the event the firework set off at the wrong moment so they edited this at the right time I guess😂.

they fixed ALL the video, i was in the crowd and they had like 2s of time gap with the fireworks :/ it's why there is so much drone shoot ! like they did for the 2018 with Wildstylez - Children of drums ^^

I've alwayysss motivated and praised Eurielle to 1 day get her music to the big stages and big screens! Here she is!
I truly don't understand everyone taking their phone out to record this. The quality is going to be shit, especially the sound and you know this kind of video will be released within a few weeks covering the whole thing professionally. It is such a distraction of what is happening right in front of you.
It's fun to have a little something to watch on the very sad 14 hour bus ride home to sweden, but yeah, enjoy as much as you can while you're there.
Also you're not allowed to post qdance videos on your own youtube/snapchat/facebook because of copyright. :)
i disagree, i have some epic videos - cameras now days are pretty bloody good. Tbh sometimes it looks better on camera than in real life.
@@dayyangil1770 I think his point is that people should enjoy the moment and let the phones in their pockets.
Better yet, have a GoPro or an alternative! You can enjoy the show but can still record the show if you have a strap for the camera.
It's just a matter of 'ego' for these people, they simply want to show off to their friend they have been to Defqon1. Surely they don't record this stuff to add to your personal music collection, like you said, Q-Dance does that for you, from several angles, in 4K nonetheless, even from a drone now flying through the fireworks. It seems a bit unsafe to fly a drone above fireworks and crowds but actually that drone only flies behind the stage over the fireworks, and I think they use more of them. If one gets hit by firework and falls down then it just fall backstage. But the filming? Just 'ego' for these people.
One Tribe and Luma is definately two of the best anthems.
