Admire him staying committed to the no more performances thing (he's backtracked on stuff like this in the past), but did not realize he was literally in the building. Like dude its the last Qlimax ever. Get the hell on the stage for 15min. It's a special occasion, everyone would understand.
And if he actually did go on stage, everybody would call him fake and just an attention seeker because he would have 'returned' for a second time. Tldr: he could never satisfy everyone with whatever choice he made. Although I was hoping he would be doing a set.

When Live Forever starts, I can only imagine them saying to each other, "Yes, let’s go! This song and the lights together-just a masterpiece.
Ever since I witnessed "Live Forever" performed live, especially at Qlimax, it's ok now, I can die in peace. But yeah, a little dissapointed that he's not showep up on scene
I know he said he will stop doing live sets, but still, I'm sad that he didn't change his mind for the sake of the LAST Qlimax. Because I know Qlimax means A LOT for him. It's even sadder that he didn't even talk about it on social media. I was expecting a lengthy post or even a video from him, but no. He only wrote on Instagram, "Despite me not being on stage this year, I still hope my music has made a difference for you", and already started the campaign for his song to be included in the Top 100. This was extremely sad for me because over the years HE was the one that made me emotional (e.g. at Qlimax 2019, and when he released the emotional video of the making of Luminosity). So sad.
just like everyone else i was annoyed that he decided to watch from the sidelines instead of at least just stand there and pretend for 15 mins while his tracks were played, but on the plus side this set was way more energetic and fun than heady would have done by himself. I was personally pretty happy to not have to heard Orange Heart played in its entirety, with such a short set time he would have only played like 4 songs lol
