hi. just did the same, there is another HEX screw inside under big screw on red caliper. It is a screw under the screw.
It is for adjusting another side, second brake pad. So you can adjust distance of both brake pads.

Does anybody know what happens if I loosen that hex on the side of the caliper that presumably holds the spring mechanism? Will it fly apart or can it be easily reassembled...I need to clean mine, as the front one binds at full bite, slightly. Also, the one thing I would clarify in your video is that A) the distance between the two pads from the rotor should be even and B) the gap should be tightened as much as possible, but still loose enough to compensate for "out of trueness" of the rotor.

    Segway breaks are week now?
I have a segway p100s. The breaks used to be strong, but after riding through the winter they can't stop me, only slow me down or stop if I break 30 ft in advance at really any speed above 15.
I really shouldn't have rid it on ice and mud...but I did. It got caked in mud and cold.
    Any guesses at what's wrong?

brake pads probably got contaminated with the ice and mud, you can either try to clean then or buy new ones
