The longer that Stock of Games stays on the Shelf, the more the price goes down on the Stock of Games. As time goes on, the price goes down even more for everything left in that Stock of Games until they are gone. Sony is Smart. Knowing this and wanting to Squeeze every little bit (Their Actions and Corporate Decisions) making Disc-less Consoles Appealing to us at a cheaper price, locks us into the Convenience of Downloading Games. Not looking at Physical Copies because we can't play them Anyway.
Physical is only for collectors. Digital is the way to go. At this point i have an absolutely amazing ps1,ps2, and ps3 library. All digital and free!! Thanks to emus. Not too mention the digital switch is inevitable

Not to mention, without an internet connection (or even in the event of server outages), your digital games cannot function properly even if you turn on that setting that allows you to use your library when offline. In October when we had that PSN outage for 8 hours, I wasn't able to play any of my digital games, I just got black screens and I tried multiple games but wouldn't boot up. But my disc's were working fine.
And regarding persona 3 I played fes edition in a week or so for 10 bucks on ps2 same year it released. When p3p+p4g together are cheaper than p3r without dlc.

A few years ago I bought Civ 6 for switch for $6. Played it a couple hours, didn’t like it. Just sold it for $4.50. What a steal.
