Hermits, Hounds, and Horses I have another question sorry if I’m bothering you but my hermit crabs aren’t comfortable around me whenever I go around them they instantly go in there she’ll do is there a way I can make them more comfortable to me?
I make a couple of these DIY traps & set them ( next to ) my crab tank "Not Inside" they work pretty good. You have to re-fresh them about once a week after the vinegar smell goes away. Also you can rub some coconut oil or olive oil on a paper plate or plastic lid-cover & sort of fan it back & forth in the tank , some nats will stick to it :) th-cam.com/video/-TzQEPIKwHE/w-d-xo.html
My son and I have been watching your videos and upgraded our 10 gallon tank to a tall 20 gallon. We have had three hermits for about a month. We added pools with bubblers, moss pits and a second level. He wants to know if you will include his tank in your next review.
I just have to ask have you ever had any problems with mites in your crab tank? I have and I always clean out their tank thoroughly, and boil all of those things, and give them new substrate. I want to know why they get in the tank, I think it might be because of their food. Do you have any tips for me?
Hi i just bought 2 hermit crabs and a starter kit it came with a water solution but it does not say if it's for salt water or fresh water do you have any tips on what i should do? I also just bought the solutions for both but in the mean time i need some tips!!
B-cuz hermies r so darn cute alot of folks cant help but to buy them from the shore shops, please consider carefully when oooo-ing & awwwing over them in their extrmly over crowded cages at the beach. They r not a throw sum pellets in, change the water here & there & they're good kind of animals. How many ppl get bck from the beach w/ 1, maybe 2 crabs & they die w/in a month? Plenty, im sure. Proper tank size(dear GOD, not those round wire or 6inch × 4inch plastic carry cages), DEEP layer of appropriate substrate, dechlorinated fresh AND salt water to submerge in and drink, hides shells, ect., ect. They are not cheap, throw away, good "1st pets" for kids. Just cuz they cost next to nothing to buy @ the beach dsn't mean they r cheap to set up & maintain properly. Please put some thought into taking any of these guys home.
Humidity is absolutely key. Must must MUST be at LEAST 75%+ humidity for proper gill function(breathing).
I love your intro and is there a way to prevent nats in your hermit crab tat?
Thanks and honestly, I am struggling with gnats at the moment right now too.
Yea every ten mins I have to go to there tank and shoo them away and it
S really annoying

No tips really, I am currently struggling with bugs myself.

Always try to have at least 2 in no less than a 10 glln. Bigger is always better and they are social creatures. They like company. And deep substrate
Yay
I love the video
Love these videos!!! in my time zone it’s 12:08... :)
Yay!

I would google that specific brand and see what you find. It is probably for fresh water, because Instant ocean should be used for salt water.

Yeah!
I really like it by the way how do I send you a pic of my tank?
What sand do you use? Cocopeat?
Yes, coconut mixed with playsand.
Are you still accepting crabitats?
Yes, although the waiting list is now into December.
Mine was the one with the sponge bob house
I am planning on putting another bigger pools but again I don’t have enough room to get a bigger tank
And is was the one with three purple pinchers
I send you a DM on your Instagram about my hermit crabs tank. It’s on my moms Account though because I don’t have an Instagram.
